I'll use myself as an example. Younger kid I was a Jets and Giants fan (crazy I know). 1991 I was 11 years old and we got Jets season tickets. For a game or two I still like the Giants and then by mid season I was a 100% Jets fan. Looking back I was tortured for it but I'm glad I did it. My advice get three Jets tickets (I don't know how many of you would go) and start to bring the kids. He won't want to be the outcast where dad and brother are in all Jets. It will work trust me.
It does work. And you don't have to badger or force or anything else. If the Giants fans asks, "How come we got Jets tickets instead of Giants tickets?' ... all you have to do is explain that the Jets tickets we;re easier to come by and you could afford them and not the Giants tickets. So then you day, "But you can still root for teh giants too! You can root for both teams, right?" And how's he going to argue with that? But then when he goes to the Jets games and starts getting into it, pretty soon he'll be more jets than Giants.
Look at it this way, a ticket to the moon will cost you over $20,000,000. This way you get a similar view of the field for only $111 !
17A said he was going to get someone's PSL thousands and thousands of posts back. Still hasn't happened.
I got mine and everything stayed the same as far as price. Just no offer for half off parking this year.
Why would you buy a PSL at any price? If it sold for pennies, by definition it would be worthless. Seat licenses are only worth something when you get special access to tickets at below market rates. As soon as tickets are priced at or above market (Jets), the PSL become worthless and actually has negative value due to the obligation to spend money for 10 overpriced games and only getting 8 in return
I think 17A plan is to obtain mezz or LL seats WITHOUT paying for PSL. In other words the present PSL owner would still be on the hook for the PSL but 17A would be on the hook for the game day seat prices
my bad last year i didnt pay full priced parking. this year they are charging me full price. but ticket prices were not raised. but were not lowered either
Well that means actually you are got a boost from last season to this season since U will be paying more then U paid last season
ok, I never expect them to lower prices but I would have been stunned if they raised them based on the last 2 years and what looks like it will be a tough season in 2013.
I am not surprised that ticket prices got raised,,,,it's what they do,,,,,my question is have the price of psl tickets gone up ? And by how much ?
No one realizes it, but ticket prices HAVE gone up over the last several years. Reason being, the worthless Preseason Games have gotten more and more worthless with every passing year. They're a joke now. Went from being something worth going to, to something maybe I might be interested in, to "maybe I'll go if I don't have anything better to do," to "What a fucking joke it is to even show up in the parking lot for this fucking thing!" Full price and parking is the same price too... all for two games that have become more and more worthless as time has gone on. So we think the prices haven't gone up, but the reality is, we're being fucked but good by Woody each and every time we send in full price for 10 games but really paying for 8 we intend to go to. The other two, you might as well give the parking pass and seat tickets to a homeless person, so he can use the porta-john and pick up food out of the dumpster for free. That's the only value to that ticket.
