I still don't agree with the trade, but Clowe definitely is a nice addition. Wow!

Also I still want Torts gone

Jay, that was the most satisfying game I've seen in years, my son said the Garden erupted when Clowe flattened Englland on the 1st shift and never stopped...Asham punched Glass in the face 7 times...Brassard's passing was right on the tape...but the biggest surprise was 3 for 3 on the PP and the 1st unit was Boyle- Clowe- Brassard...I like Moore's point shot also, its very accurate...great game!:beer::beer:

These last few weeks are going to be intersting. two big games tonight for the Devils and Islanders.

I am hoping the Rangers can get on a hot streak and ride it in to the post season.

If anyone can PLEASE post the video of that behind-the-back pass to Richards at the point that he blasted for his goal, I would really appreciate it. That was a thing of beauty.

What a great game to go to! Everything I could have asked for AND MORE! '

    Personal highlights:

    -NEW GUYS!!!!
-Clowe Crunching Malkin in the corner and the Garden going bananas
    -Iginla being irrelevant
-Asham using Glass's face as a punching bag
-The misery of the Shittsburgh fan sitting next to me.

That team looked completely different out there. They were mean, creative and gritty as hell. Welcome back Black and Blue shirts!

Here is the REAL test for this team: Can they do it again IN Pittsburg for a team that is going to be out for revenge?

Now THAT is how you run a power play! You move your feet with the puck, instead of standing still passing. You draw the defender to you, leaving the point man open. You drop a pass, which is shot INSTANTLY with a one-timer (Not giving 18,000+ fans the opportunity to scream "SHOOT IT"), past a goaltender who is screened in front.

    Powerplay 101, right there, folks!

Some of you guys are so retarded that its embarrassing to post here. You fuckin cried all season long about Gbs being WORTHLESS but complain when he gets traded. Idiots.

The salary cap goes down almost 10% next year. First and foremost, it was a salary dump. You want to pay the Stepans, McD's, MDZ's of the world? Or would you rather lose guys like that and keep Gabs? Idiots.

Secondly, we got a 21 year old D-man who can skate like the wind. Huge upside. We also got a legit centerman who plays well on the PP.

And we got rid of a cancer and a disruption.

Great trade? No. Good trade? yes. And a much needed one long term.

i think its a fair trade for both teams...Gaborik will help a franchise get more fans and marketing around him will go a long way there. He'll be his own man in the long run there for Columbus. Plus he gets to hang out with Artem and Dubi.

People forget that Dorsett who is out for the regular season is like a Brandon Prust, if we make the playoffs he may make a huge difference. Blue Jackets fans are more upset they lost him compared to anyone else.

Its very telling that Torts said to Brassard and Moore "I shook their hands and told them to go have fun."

Thats been a problem with Torts, him running this ship like a tyrant at times limits our guys natural ability. The free flow game and that forecheck...KEY WORD: FORECHECK (what helped us win over the Crapitals last year) came forth last night.

Time to be loose Torts, your on thin ice. Also, fire Sullivan. He is a useless tool

Torts definitely needs to pull a Tom Coughlin. Sullivan is Torts' butt buddy, he's not going any where without Torts.

Is there a way we could still lose Del Zotto even though we got rid of Gabby? That is the ideal plan for me.

Not really, no. Do you think Del Zotto is worth what he is getting paid?
