I think that one of the problems is the Tebahow tribe can't seem to figure out what they want. Some of you think he should be a backup and work on his mechanics and some of you think he will only improve if be works with the first team and gets game experience. Which is it? If you guys can't agree, how can you expect anyone else to know what the hell to do with him?
I am only registered at the forums that I own and here. Starting naming names CC. Since your so on top of this scenario. Also, you do the same thing by registering on forums that you have no connection to whatsoever. You are not a Jets fan nor a Tebow fan, but spend countless hours on Tebow forum lurking around. If your going to call people out, then you better not be doing the same thing. What is your point anyways? You don't like Tebow? We get it. You don't like the Jets? We know. You say the same boring thing everyday, all day. It's getting old. If your going to start mentioning where everyone signs up, then you better have the facts. Who cares where anyone post on these forums? I have seen you mention on several occasions that you join and post on several forums just to screw with people on a topic you have no interest in. How is that any different?
Not really. Since you don't actually ALLOW any dissent on Tebow, it is easy for you to make that claim. They'd get whacked with the ban hammer immediately. Someone sent me a PM a couple months ago asking if I was some dude trolling your site. (I think you know who I am talking about.) I checked out the linked threads, and saw a guy not being particularly disrespectful, but being attacked by some of your members who came a lot closer to crossing that line than anything HE said. Yet you asked HIM to leave for not agreeing. Don't recall anyone holding your fellow Teboners in check. So OF COURSE the criticism would be minimal. I don't spend as much time as you probably think. Like I said, there is only so much unchallenged "I love Tebow" posts I could sift through. glad to see I live rent-free in the grills of most of your posters though. I wasn't even aware you HAD a second one. *scratches head* What do you need 2 of them for? I actually agree. But you guys act as if Tebow is the only athlete on the planet that was told one thing, and another thing happened instead after teams had a look at you. Like I said, I don't spend as much time at your site as you guys like to think. But your members that stuck around here vehmently argued that Tebow didn't complain or didn't ask out of the wildcat. What we DO know is that he had a conversation about it with Rex, and the result was Tebow not getting a start, and Kerney getting some of his calls. These same guys tried to fight tooth and nail about Tebow trying to fib his way out of admitting he had the power to choose New York over Jacksonville. It isn't just the work he needs. I mean... duh, OF COURSE he needs work. But people HONESTLY believe the kid single handedly pulled the Broncos into the playoffs, or somehow willed the team to win when the defense was playing at a level where just about any scrub would have walked away with wins. It's that and the way Teboners attack people for not agreeing the stat sheets say it all when there are a thousand variables that go into those stats. Saying Tebow nees work on mechanics is as close as you guys will come to criticism. The ones who think he should have gotten a shot when all else was failing last year at least had merit. But you had dumbasses here claiming the Jets WOULD have won, and one of your moderators even said right here on this site that Rex didn't play him because he was scared Tebow would win and make him look bad for not doing it sooner. Comments like that deserve to be called out.
You two can have a tea party. Can't make everyone happy. And we do have members that disagree. We believe there is no need to have the same exact conversation that goes on here be repeated in another spot. We decided to form a place away from a place where this sort of ridiculous conversation happens. As you can see here anyone who supports Tebow is immediately labeled homophobic names and told to shut up. Why would anyone want to have any sort of conversation with anyone that is being spoken to like that. Someone just mentioned that Tim's fans are nasty, etc. Really? So because I and my other mods don't allow the sort of rhetoric that is allowed here over on my forum, I am too harsh? Maybe I like having conversations with people that have actually intelligent responses. Ummm... it's a FAN forum... are we suppose to sit around and throw darts at the guys face? I believe my members have looked at all angles of most situations. If you don't feel that correct, then don't read my forum. You spend enough time to take content off of my site and use it here as a stick to beat people with. Be a man and actually fight your fights. It's so interesting that you take stuff off of our forum and then start threads here to start stuff. Once again, you won't join because you know half the stuff you ramble on about can't be backed up. You have all the freedom in the world here because the mods for whatever reason support you as a troll. It's nice having that back up? You couldn't stand a chance. I have seen you go against some pretty strong types that post on my forum and you have usually not come out on top. That's where your completely wrong. Other footballs players have been spoken about. But sense you yourself say you don't spend as much time as you would like to admit, you have not then read the complete content. Don't sit here and claim something you know nothing about. Your still trying to pigeon hole a group of people for whatever reason. Say what want, but be ready to back it up. Once again CC, where did I deny that Tim had words with Rex? I sure as hope the kid said something to Rex. I think you need to move on from this on. Be reminded that Tim Tebow currently ranks higher then the starting QB on the Jets, even for the whole five minutes he played this season. I think that speaks for itself. Plus, Tebow has a much lower interception rating then Mark Sanchez. Am I suppose to ignore that? I guess so since I am a Tebow fan. My bad. Also, the 2 other QBs, plus the current 3rd stringer have not lead a team to the playoffs such as Tebow and Sanchez. Good luck with that! You can call my a dumbass all you want because I believe that. Like I care! Your right Rex didn't play him. The Jets don't have the money to guarantee to any player right now if they are winning. If Tim did won it would make Rex look like a freaking idiot, plus bleed them out of the little money they do have. You know that CC! Come on man! Your basically saying that you know Tim would not lead this team to more victories the Sanchez. How can you or anyone else know that? For that matter how can I know that he would have? We don't know. I can't claim something just as you can not because NOBODY got the chance to see what the kid could have done. Had Tim been given a chance for a game or two an then we saw any sort of results, then we can talk about could have, should have. Neither arguement stands at this moment. I believe you stood by this same stance over on the Broncos forums and you had a big heaping pile of crow pie when Tim won big. So what hate path your on, my stance about Tebow will not change. Is he the best guy out their QBing right now? No way! I know that. But for trades for sub-par QBs that are happening around the league right now, he sure if a hell of a lot better then a lot of these guys. Many others with the same abilities such as Tebow have been allowed the time and not near the criticism that Tim has been given. That is the unfairness. He lead a team to the playoffs and for that he got banished to a black hole. I would be upset for anyone that would happen to... Tebow as a last name or not.
You know there is more to it than that. You guys might disagree amongst yourselves on some of the finer points, but the point is, you pretty much have to bleed Tebow to be a member. Probably would have gotten bored reading it a long time ago... except I still get attacked on YOUR forum all the time. What do you think I've been doing? I get attacked in a place I'm not allowed to defend myself in. How is THAT manly? Call me out if you wish, but you know damn well you guys are doing the same damn thing you are attempting to call me out for here. ummmmm... this is a Tim Tebow forum, right? So I listed all the possible destinations of places that MIGHT need him and gave my opinion on each of them. sue me. We both know how it would end up if I tried registering there. I think it might actually piss you off that I haven't tried just so you could use that itchy ban finger. As for who comes out on top. you're hardly objective in judging that. you're a Teboner, OF COURSE you'd think anything they said was top notch. That would be like a democrat coming out and saying "Obama came out on top" of the presidential debate. Or a Tea Party member thinking Sarah Palin was 100% spot on with everything she said. Ummmm.... Really? You don't say.... I've spent enough time there to see my name there. Not hard to find. Occaisionally I'll see beautiful quotes like the one in my sig. I know you think Tebow is great, but come on, man!! Where did I say YOU denied it? Re-read my quote. ...and what good does throwing less interceptions do if your offense is still one of the worst in the league, and ranked near the bottom in points scored? plus, he still fumbles. So let's stop pretending that him putting the ball into the dirt and leadign the league in three and outs is actually a good thing. he leaves a LOT to be desired when running and offense, and is one of the reasons teams are looking elsewhere for a QB. it isn't just the fanatics teams will inherit when they get him, but combined with the FACT that he really struggles with the pass.... not a good combination. That is the perception on Tebow and why he's gonna be hard pressed to get a shot at starting again. He had his chance. Just about everyone else has to show the coaches in PRACTICE. Yet you guys insist that should all be ignored and coaches should just take it on faith that Tebow will get it done anyway, even if he can't execute your offense in practice. good luck finding a coach that will stake his reputation on that kind of faith. But they can throw and DON'T come with the media circus. I truly believe Tebow would have had a fine career if he hadn't come into the league as such a rock star. If you're gonna be the media sweetheart, and get to write memoirs at the age of 23. ...then expect a LOT of criticism when falling on your face.
Tim qualifies as extra terrible now because he was: 1) The only QB on the Jets roster that did not start this year. 2) Scored as many touchdowns as me and Steve McNair combined in 2012 (too soon?) 3) 4th most passing yards on a 6-10 team this year (not sure which ranking you cited when comparing him to Sanchez, pec depth? quad circumference?) 4) Broncos managed to win more games without him (completely shit the bed in playoffs though) I can't remeber, how did Tim's divisional game go, good I guess? 5) Broncos also scored a TD at home against the Chiefs for the first time in two years! 6) Tim is now competing with a 2-time AFCCG participant, a Pro Bowler and former BCS National Champ. He couldn't beat Kyle Orton during camp, how do you think things look for him now? 7) Jets had a blocked punt with Tim as PERSONAL PROTECTOR. 8) Intentionally sabatoged Mark Sanchez by knocking down a decent pass with his facemask. 9) Colt McCoy was acquired by NFC Champs for draft picks. Tim was offered a deal by an AFL team. 10) UF Gator Legend seeking help from 75-year old FSU legend Chris Weinke? I may have missed some stuff but feel free to explain how that is all made up and hateful and the result of everyone's jealousy/fear of Timbodini
You realize that guy is still posting there, unharmed, right? BTW, I initially questioned his motives but if you spoke with him, he'd tell you that I encouraged him to stay and I also made sure that people backed off of him after the initial shock. People didn't want to devolve the fan site into a I hate Tebow / I love Tebow argument zone. He hardly loves Tebow, but he is a good voice there and differing opinion. I'm glad he hung around, and I actually like the way he counters arguments.
Tim having the 4th most passing yards on the Jets in 2012 has nothing to do with his performance???? wtf Broncos breaking the barrier to score a TD at home against KC for first time in two years (hint: Tim was starter in 2011) had nothing to do with his performance???? Then...Broncos making playoffs in 2011 had nothing to do with Tim's performance either? Broncos making playoffs was an extrapolation????
Proof that people don't get banned for saying nice things about Tebow: Tim threw a tight spiral to Dedrick Epps on Dedrick's last play of the season. Tim almost scored a touchdown, he tried hard. I will check back in to see if I have been martyred like ssssssssomebody we know.
He wasn't asked to throw. That makes no sense. He completed 6 of the 8 passes they had him throw. I don't even understand what you are aiming at here, so you'll have to help me out. I have an idea, but I don't want to assume.
Yes, your so right CC... I ask that any new member to make an entire alter to completely devote themselves to him before they consider joining. You are insane. I think you think there is more to it. It simply is a bunch of people who chat about a common interest. Nothing more. Dude, it's all entertainment. I swear Tebow haters have made Tebow fans to seem like the Yeti! Completely typical of a bully crying wolf. I believe it was you that let everyone know here about our forum, thus giving us more members. It as simply as this: Don't go around talking about other people and they won't talk about you. Don't don't feel sorry for someone rips on others and then boo hoos about it happening to them. Then don't attack other people. They have stood up to you in here, then have been banned by your pose. If you feel that threatened I am willing to hear your side in my own space. You can't play it one way and not expect people not to take things sitting down. I don't have a problem with this. I could care less if you join or not. You send us members anytime you mention us. So, really if you join or not matters nothing to us. Basically you do my leg work for me and I don't even have to lift a finger. Sorry, this is all the fucks I give. Once again, if you don't like it then don't be the person starting something you can't finish. A lot of these QBs leave a lot to be desired. I don't hear you pick them apart the way you do with Tebow as a fair analysis. I have said I agree that he needs to sharpen a lot of skills. If you weren't always on the attack with Tebow fans, you may actually hear them saying that. But you are so quick to be all high and mighty regarding how right you are. You know what man? You can be right all you want. I know what I know and you know what you know. Yes, because practice is were it all happens. I can name several athletes in several sports that practice terrible, but then come out on competition day and kill it. The practice argument is so freaking weak to me. So Sanchez is great in practice and then stinks it up game time and that is good? Whoa. Some can, some can't. Tim doesn't court on the media. The media has used this kid as a ratings tool and in part it has not helped his career. This kid gets attention like no other player does in this league. He can't help if the media uses him to get people to their sites or watching their shows. I do agree with you that the media circus is too much. I would like to see them tone it down. I use to believe that the media wouldn't hamper his career and regretfully it has. It sucks. So you admit that Tim could have had a shoot? Finally got you to say it. In regards to writing books, many other football players that are Tim's age have done the same thing. That's not a measuring rod to me in regards to this or that. You know what CC... you or I may end up being the 'right' person. But at the end of the day I support a kid who has done very well in life. On and off the football field. I stand by that the fans and haters will be more upset that Tim never got to finish what was started so we all can find out what would have happened. The difference between you and I: If Tim doesn't make it, while your gloating that you were right, others will be cheering him on with whatever he does next. Hate that all you want... but football was never the first thing in Tim's world. That upsets people to whatever degree. All I know is this: Several of you sit here and say some pretty nasty things that have nothing to do with Tim or football, but while your all doing that... he is out there doing great in this world. Is that too nice for some of you. Possibly. I rather root someone on to acts like a descent human being then worrying about hating on someone. What a waste of time on anyone's part to spend their time talking about how much they hate someone over football. Give me a descent conversation where we may not always see eye to eye, but calling people gay, creepy, or vile names isn't a valid discussion. I like kicking it around and do a little trash talking, but at the end of the day it's all entertainment. My life is not measured by what Tebow does. I like the guy and support him, but your mistaken if you think he is all my being.
That would at least explain the wild emotional swings and dislike of Kyle Orton. What an ugly motherfucker, am I right?
Tim wasn't asked to throw? I agree, Rex had a civic duty to protect the faces of fans sitting in the first twelve rows. Was Jeremy Kerley given a lot more opportunities to throw. You seem to know a lot about the Jets playbook, how many pass plays were called for Jeremy Kerley? A lot? A buch? A shit ton? An ass load?
How do Tim's results not have to do with his performance? Zero TDs! Why? Trindon Holliday made it happen a few times this year, what the hell was Tim's problem?
Not sure, but I think he had one long pass. Tebow's 6 completions only added up to like 40 yards or so.
