WTF? Dumping your drink on somebody is now considered assault? I wouldn't waste money on a lawyer either. That's a joke. Imagine how many people could sue over girls dumping drinks on them? It would be as big as the divorce business!

Marijuana means absolutely nothing to me. It will be legal soon enough and it isn't a PED. He can smoke the sticky green, all he wants, as long as he's not doing it before games and whatnot.

I'd love to get Davis for a reasonable contract. His off the field issues do not seem to be like a tremendous problem.

  4. Can likely be a very good "Hold the fort" #1 Tight end followed by a very good #2 TE into his 30's. Wouldn't mind bringing him on board at all.

He's a slightly bigger version of Keller. I like the idea of continuity, but if we can somehow get him cheaper than Keller, it would be a steal.

He probably will come cheaper than Keller. He is coming off an injury and a not so stellar performance the year before. I think we could get him at a good deal.

He is visiting us either today or tomorrow. I hope they strike a deal with him

He would be an awesome addition.

I was leery at first about his injury, but the guy is determined to prove that no team should have passed up on him. I like that a lot!

Also, I was scared he would walk away with a contract from Buffalo. Maybe this gives us a chance to match their price or give him a long term deal.

No go for Jets fans. I think he'll re-sign with Washington.

    Profootballtalk:Fred Davis cancels Jets visit

    Fred Davis cancels Jets visit

Posted by Mike Florio on March 28, 2013, 9:47 PM EDT

File photo of Davis turning to run after a catch against the New York Jets during the first half of their NFL football game in LandoverReuters
Tight end Fred Davis won’t be playing like a Jet in 2013.

Well, he could be playing like a Jet, but he won’t be a Jet.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Davis has canceled his visit to New York. He has narrowed his choices to the Bills and the Redskins.

Both teams have made Davis an offer. Davis surely would like one or the other to sweeten the pending packages in order to close the deal.

Davis has spent five NFL seasons with the Redskins. He suffered a torn Achilles tendon last season.

Who cancels a visit...I don't recall ever seeing that.

  16. Screw him then. Let him go rot in Buffalo.

Haha wow. Upset much? Because he really would have flourished with the Jets.

Dont get your panties in a bunch, he'll re-sign with Washington anyway.
