    Tannehill you mean?

And I wouldnt touch Flynn at all. I know you said you thats what you expect the Jets to do, but do you support either scenario? If its a guy like Glennon or Nassib in round 2 than maybe, but I personally might be more inclined to wait a year and try and get our QB next year.

Its going to take some serious scouting, luck, development and a supporting cast to find and develop one of these QBs into something special.

I meant Gabbert, I should have said 2 years ago, he was a reach, and you're right Tannehill last year was even a bigger reach.

I think Flynn might be released, he's going to be expensive in a trade. The Jets need a vet, relying on Sanchez, Gmac & a newly drafted QB is risky. There aren't many Kaepernicks around.

We may need to wait till 2014 to get a solid QB in the draft.

Bleacher Report has suspect info. In fact, we use to have them posting in the "Jets News" and I asked Petro to remove them.

I about to recommend removing Gang Green Nation, it's a bunch of trash.

Bleacher Report has some good stuff, but it blurs the line so much between the good stuff and the bad stuff that it's unreliable.

I Guess the Combine is where we can really watch Dyserts Mechanics and get a better feel for who he is. I read on Cnnsi.com that he was doing bad at Mobile but that's just one mans perspective. So when February comes we all can get a eyes on look at him, plus if he is doing bad his stock is falling and he can be picked up later in the draft.

According to http://walterfootball.com/draft2013meetingsteams.php, Christine Michael & Jets have met more than once. His name has been brought up here so I figured we'd like to know Jets are showing him some interest also.

According to the same website, 3 other teams have also checked out Christine Michael (but only Jets have done it more than once).

    Cardinals
    Bears
    Saints

What Round would he most likely be selected? I like his running style a good north and south back with good cut back ability

Not sure about scout.com, but they are reporting we will work out Le'Veon Bell.

Sources: Le'Veon Bell to visit Jets, Cowboys, work out for Buccaneers
by Aaron Wilson of Scout.com, March 28, 2013 at 12:14 pm ET

    Le'Veon Bell Profile

Is Michigan State junior running back Le'Veon Bell emerging as the most coveted running back in the NFL draft?

Bell has been called the best running back in the draft by Bucky Brooks and league sources are starting to echo that opinion.

Bell is drawing heavy NFL interest.

He has official visits with the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys and private workouts from the Cowboys, Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to league sources with knowledge of the situation.

He's drawing serious interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos.

His campus Pro Day workout was attended by Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert, coach Mike Tomlin and running backs coach Kirby Wilson

The workout was also attended by Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden and Broncos running backs caoch Eric Studesville.

Bell is a big, punishing back at 6-foot-2, 230 pounds.

He rushed for 1,793 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior and was named All-Big Ten Conference.

He averaged 4.7 yards per carry and caught 32 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown.

Bell has run the 40-yard dash in 4.56 seconds and has a 31 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 9-10 broad jump.

As a freshman, Bell rushed for 605 yards and eigh touchdowns.

As a sophomore, Bell rushed for 948 yards and 13 touchdowns.

Bell rushed for 1,333 yards and 21 touchdowns as a high school senior.

He was recruited as a safety by Ohio State, but went to the Spartans and thrived as a featured running back.

I'd like Bell somewhere in the mid 3rd to early 4th. Other than that, I'd have to say pass (not to say I don't like what he brings to the table, I'm just talking value wise).

I've known Bell for a long time. He's from Central, Ohio and the same school, Groveport H.S., as Eric Smith. I've seen Bell play in H.S and he was a very talented player that played offense & defense.

If the Jets are interested, I think he will be available at their 4th Rd pick.

Can he really catch the ball? WCO needs a set of good hands out in the flats.

His hands are better, but to me what really stands out are his feet. For a man his size he is nimble in traffic. He is not a burner by any means, but a very solid all around back.

His game is solid, runs with power and good hands and willing to block.

  17. If the Jets go RB in the draft it will likely be w a power runner like Bell. As an MSU fan..I watched alot of his game. He has good vision, decent hands & punishes defenders. My lone worry? Tread off the tires. He got an awful lot of carries under Dantonio.

Le'Veon Bell would be a great compliment to Goodson and Powell and we'd have a nasty 3 man attack

Also Margus Hunt will get consideration at 9 since I finally realize what Rex has been building up since day 1

Better shot at Hunt as an option if we trade down.

As for Bell....I feel we need a burst/speed back...Bell's not so much that. He's more of a bruiser though he has some agility and leap....prefer we get Franklin or Taylor or Jamison who all might be in the same spot as Bell.

I think it depends on who's available to come up for

Honestly if they really like him and think he can contribute as a weakside DE in our 46 then I wont mind the pick, we can really judge these guys until the season anyway
