To be fair Sparano didn't even know his own system. He wasn't the OC back when Pennington played for Miami. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
Nacho will be very comfortable. Eating nacho, taco and hotdog on the bench while someone else is playing QB for the team.
I honestly do not care what positives they say about him. Everything said about him should be taken as the smallest grain of salt. What we as Jets fans have learned about Sanchez, all that matters is what he does on the field come game-time. (If he even makes it to the field as the starter this upcoming season)
I would put money on Sanchez being the starter week 1, and I hope he kicks ass. I don't feel comfortable giving up on him yet. Unless he blows in training camp of course.
This sums it up, MS can know the offense like the back of his hands, if his RB, WR and TE's don't know the system, he will look terrible, taking sacks and throwing incompletions. The WCO is a timing system unless we can get receivers that can get separation from the DB's might as well put a fork in the offense.
This is just another excuse for Sanchez. He gets paid to win! If he needs an all-pro supporting cast to do that, then we are dead in the water! Enough with the excuses. Let them compete and the winner is our starting QB. End of story!
This is a tunnel vision view supporting a takedown of a single player. Teams that win Super Bowls are typically stacked on offense and defense. Teams don't win Super Bowls with the Chaz Schilens of the world. You're so blinded by your hatred of Sanchez that you ignore the rest of the problems.
Sorry to say but your hate for MS is blinding you from the reality of what it takes to win in the NFL. It's not just a great QB and a bunch of practice squad players as your supporting cast, just look at all the teams in the playoffs last year and the supporting cast for their QB's, and then repost.
Yeah but when you have one of the absolute worst QB's in the NFL making what 12 million its hard to be stacked on the offensive side of the ball. Mark needs everything to be perfect in order to succeed, he can't and will not make anyone around him better. Most of the issues on offense are due to marks inconsistency, he just makes dumb decisions.
Appreciate the read but I'll believe it when I see it. Sounds a lot like the classic "We had a great week of practice" line from Rex.
*yawn* Who cares? What has comfort ever had to do with Sanchez anyways? If you're not comfortable while f#c&ing supermodels, eating hotdogs on the sideline, getting a contract worth $58.25 million, your head coach always taking the wrap or placing the blame else where, all while knowing there was never a backup QB that could've truly taken his job... YOU'RE NEVER GOING TO BE COMFORTABLE ENOUGH!!!
there are many things Mark Travis John Sanchez is. Lazy isn't one of them. If it were I'd seriously hate him instead of simply shaking my head at what could have been. he certainly puts in the effort, but gets none of the results mostly.
All of this.......But..... Wouldn't it be nice if he did get it and we didn't have to waste a pick/picks getting yet another 'possible' franchise QB on our roster. Until he's NOT a Jet, I will be rooting for him to succeed.
^Of course that'd be nice, that's what we all want, success. No question I'm rooting for Sanchez to ressurect his career, even if it means Junc and Hobbes parading around saying I told you so. I just don't expect it.
