At no point have I boasted and bragged about my team this year, I understood this would be a retooling year. You must have me confused w/ someone else.

if you think betting some irrational, unstable man on the internet is being gutless I can't help you.

So much for Wisconsin... I had a feeling Ole Miss would be angry and they send the Badgers home.

Fucking A10 is looking very strong, I only took Michigan because they were handed a home game against VCU but I don't think VCU will be intimadated at all. That's a game that VCU could win and I wouldn't be surprised if they did. St Louis could beat Oregon and Butler should beat Marquette.

I'm not talking about this year. I'm talking about this falsified mytique that is the legacy of UNC that you constantly shove down everyone's throat while lifting your leg and pissing all over everyone else's team. Let's look at this latest Gem you jus wrote:

Carolina was by far the better team that year and they were the better team that night, Tom O'Neill and his crew kept you in the game by fouling out Felton.

    1) Who gives a shit that Carolina was the better team that year? I'm never argued that point. But let me ask you something: Does the "Better Team" always win? Is Harvard a "better' team that New Mexico? What was even the point for saying that? Should Villanova had fallen to their knees and kissed UNC's sneakers for agreeing to share a court with them?

    2) UNC was the better team that night as dictated by the score, no one is arguing that. But in this instance it is not that cut and dry as there was a controversial call that ultimatey decided that game. That's not just me speaking, but dozens of media experts who covered the event.

    3) Felton fouled out of that game because he could not keep up with Villanovas athletic guards slashig inside. He lacked the athletic ability to stop them therefore he fouled them to prevent them from scoring. Now you may say that is a baseless opinion but it is no less baseless than your ridiculous point about the referees making five bad foul calls against one player on your team. Furthermore, while I have seen several articles arguing the Ray travel call, I have to this day yet to see one saying taht Felton never should have fouled out.

My point: Stop insulting everyones intellegence by treating your opionions as fact.

I praised your team this year. I said your team deserved a better seed then they got, and I have praised yoru head coach up and down for years. There was no reason for you to bring this crap up again, junc. It was classless, and unsportsmanlike. It had no place on this board this many years later.

Sorry if the facts of UNC being one of the greatest programs of all time bothers you.

1)the team that played better that night won. The proper call was made late and the game isn't close if they don't foul out Felton on ticky tack fouls.

2)who cares who says it? look at the tape, he travelled before he started dribbling and then when the call was made he took 3 steps. Could they have let it go? sure but it was a travel and even if the bucket counts you are still down 1 and Carolina has the ball.

3)Felton fouled out b/c he got a ton of ticky tack fouls, where 'Nova's guards were able to put their hands all over him he couldn't do the same. It wasn't 5 bad ones on him but at least 2-3 and the last 2 were a joke and it almost cost Carolina the game.

Haven't you been treating your opinion as fact? Your opinion is that he travelled, I disagree and the ref disagreed.

I didn't bring it up, another poster did. If it gets brought up I'll offer my opinions.

"One of" is quite relative. Why not say it as it is: UNC has won the third most NCAA titles of any school? That's nothing to be ashamed of.

    1) You didn't answer my question, so I will ask it again: Why is the fact that UNC was a better team than Villanova that year relevant to that game?

    2) That is a subjective argument, there is no point in arguing this point further with you.

    3) That is a subjective argument, there is no point in arguing this point further with you.

And to answer your question: No, I treat my opinion as if it is opinion, but I support my opinion by pointing to sources who agree with it, or at least those who acknowledge that the call was controversial. That way, I can to the best I can to have others understand, or even agree with my opinion.

I have yet to see one single person anywhere that supports your opinion that Ray travelled twice. Not one. ever. Yet you speak to that argument as it is methaphysical certitude.

the A 10 is a great conference. Tourney Time is proving it. I also don't think LaSalle should've had to play in the play in game.

Ramon Galloway is a great player for LaSalle. He's a transfer from South Carolina. I knew he'd finish his career strong, he looked great as a fresh/soph at the real carolina.

UCLA has the most and isn't the best program of all time. They had a great decade + of cheating to win but haven't done much else. It's btw UNC and UK for best program of all time. Right now UK has a slight edge.

    1) I don't know, just responding to your whining.

    2) your entire argument is subjective, 90% of what we discuss is subjective.

    3) your entire argument is subjective, 90% of what we discuss is subjective.

who cares if people agree or not? we can find people that agree and disagree w/ everything. The Ray play is a famous play so people point to that, most people didn't even watch the game to know how felton was fouled out so why would that be brought up? Watch the play, see the shuffling of the feet to gain an edge on his defender then watch him take 3 steps after he stopped dribbling. There's your answer, you don't need anyone else to tell you.

Did you actually see that play? No way is that DIRTY. Flagrant, maybe according to the rule, but that's not dirty, come on.

Hairston and Bullock worry me tonight. Knockdown shooters against a team that struggles often to defend the three.

But our interior defense is good. UNC likes to settle for jumpers anyway.

Tough game to figure out. Think Nova is physically and mentally tougher, but UNC is way more athletic and a better shooting team.

They are a dirty team, knocked out Marshall on a dirty play last year costing UNC the Nat'l Title and tried to knock out Henson. It was a flagrant elbow.

I'm rooting for them Sunday though.
