    Perfect. Make it happen Idzzy!

Only reason I didn't want only the first was that I see them as playoff material next year. The second would alleviate that concern.

Only thing is, it probably won't be a high pick.

    New goal,

ROOT FOR TAMPA BAY TO LOSE NEXT SEASON!!!

I might take their first next year and 2nd this year but wouldn't want to do it for just '14 picks. I'm guessing if they really did offer that then the Jets are thinking the same way and that's why there is no deal.

If we had 2 first rounders in 2014, we could target a QB and a solid offensive lineman.

    Jake Matthews would be clutch

We finally get a franchise player and in typical bullshit Jet fashion we will probably lose him.

Can anyone remember the last time we drafted a player that played his entire career with us and made the HOF?

Well, here's our chance and we will probably blow it.

I never thought I would say this, but if this deal happens, we are on the track to success, considering our draft picks are solid!!

Holy shit. Is this organization turning the corner finally!

The other thing is that if the Jets acquire the 13 they can potentially trade the 9 for a windfall in 2014 if the right players drop to the 9.

One of the things about having a draft where only a few players stand out is that there's a lot of beauty in the eye of the beholder out there.

It's hard to trade the 9 for 2014 if it takes you out of this draft until the 39 though. 13 and 39 would give the Jets chances this year and the 9 moved into 2014 would give them a very strong position that year.

Not to mention that I think trying to trade up for a pick next year will be a lot tougher than this year. Next year's draft will have a good amount a talent. Teams are going to be cherishing their first round picks.

They are trying to give us their 1st and 2nd rounder next year because they'll have a stronger team. Not so sure if that's a good idea, especially if they make the playoffs ...

    That's the problem.

We will have a shitty pick if they are good.

Can't we deal Revis to Jacksonville or Cleveland LOL

This... Need some instant gratification. A second this year is what we should be holding out for. The first next year would be clutch.

Yeah, that's what I said above and especially now that I see they have the 11th pick in the second round, not the 13th.

I would say no to this deal, Theres to many uncertainties with it. Who knows how good the Bucs might be this season they have alot of talent over there and are def capable of having a good year. So if im Idzik im not agreeing to this. 2013 1st 2014 2nd, 2013 3rd and you got urself a deal

I would much rather have 14' picks over a first this year. Next years draft looks like a much better class than this years.
