I am not sure of the all time series but they had a 2 year series in '95 & '96 then also played in maui in the '95-'96 season. Carolina beat them in '95 then Stackhouse & Wallace left 2 years early and 'Nova beat them in the ttile game in maui in a close one then beat up the Heels at 'Nova later in the year.
I made a great prop bet at William Hill, I laid down some cash that no 14, 15 ,or 16 would win a game. I got it at +230. The only one that makes me nervous is Davidson.
That's the reason why the line was like that. Because Marquette is seeded third, but isn't a top team. Davidson could definitely beat them. I saw it at -250 yes/+220 no yesterday, so similar
I think while the top seeds are down this uyear the 14-16 seeds might be the weakest in memory. I was also all over VCU, their Havoc will suffocate an Akron team with no PG. I sense a blowout in that one.
It really is scary how Tom Izzo can take his team to the next level for the NCAA Tournament, no matter how talented they are. How does he do it?
I love Izzo but since 2002 he has lost in the 1st rd 4 times and the 2nd rd once. That's 5 of the last 11 tourneys losing 1st/2nd rd.
Maybe now that Draymond Green is off the team, Michigan State will start having more success. Every year he was at Michigan State he played more, and every year their tournament performance got worse.
TNT guys (barkley and kenny smith) on CBS right now saying St. Mary's has no chance because Memphis is much better and more athletic. C'mon Gaels. I want to see these clowns eat some crow. Butler beat Bucknell.
Still hate that BUtler and Bucknell playing in round 1, would have loved to see Bucknell have a shot at somebody like UCLA or Michigan. Guess the NCAA couldn't risk the Bison knocking one of them out so they have Butler and Bucknell play each other so one is guaranteed to be out before round 2.
