Didn't we already try this with Schilens?

Schilens is a total scrub, DHB has produced more in less time, could get better and has way superior athletic ability.

DHB was developing into a pretty good player. He never should have been picked 7th but definetly a first round talent.

DHB is/was a classic Raider reach on draft day. Shaky hands. Physically average but a straight up blazer in the 40. if he's cheap sure...why not. maybe he can return kickoffs.

    Huff...no idea.

Huff was a top ten pick in the draft a few years ago right? From Texas?

Way to demonstrate your ignorance bro. If for anything you should recognize him as being a member of the recent Oakland top 10 epic draft busts. (Russel, Huff, dhb, McClain)

Michael Huff, Darrius Heyward-Bey, and Jameel McClain are all solid players. Just because someone does not develop into a superstar doesn't mean they are a bust. DHB and McClain still do have that kind of superstar potential.

Let's sign Tedd Ginn Jr. while we're at it!

I wouldn't mind Heyward-Bay at all. He still has speed, and some potential. I'm guessing his market isn't exactly robust right now. I also believe he did pretty well under Lal, so maybe there is a connection there as well. He'd be an excellent low cost #3-4 option for us, especially if we go to 4 WR sets, where we can set him and Hill on the outsides, with Kerley and Holmes on the inside. I remember advocating a possible Sanchez-DHB trade because their cap numbers were similar for this year.

However, if he's looking to get paid like an established guy, then no. He's still young, and has potential, so I'm willing to give him a shot, but only at a discounted price.

    2 complete scrubs.

Watch the tape of DHB's game last year against CIN.

That's who I meant, my bad. Just a reaction because of seeing the name McClain.

DHB has potential, its why he was drafted in the top 10. dudes fast too. he's also young. he doesn't need to be a stop gap WR for us, he could be some serious depth, and if coached correctly with a good QB, lethal

Conor Orr Per @ProFootballTalk, the #jets are showing some interest in Darrius Heyward Bey.

Hell yes. We keep getting guys like this and Goodson and our offense is going to be so fast
