I read somewhere Melo might be getting his knee drained. You know a procedure they could have done after the CLE game where he aggravated his knee. Knicks medical PR is real shady when it comes to disclosing and helping players with injuries.
He is now, finally. Medical staff is so retarded. On top of that, the entire organization is a joke right now. Woodson comments "we wanted to do what Melo wanted". Great coach. I had no idea melo was a doctor as well. He needs an MRI as well, that fluid has to be coming from somewhere. Everything is going wrong at the worst possible time. Sit Melo for the rest of this road trip.
Looks like the Knicks will have to hold on for dear life just to win the division, we need Brooklyn to suck
The medical staff makes no sense or they deliberately lie to the media. Like Lin got hurt, was supposed to be day to day, all of a sudden out for the year. Felton had a sprained pinky, they give him XRAY 3-4 days later, fracture pinky out 1-2 months. Melo's knee has been hurting since Dwight took him out on Christmas Day. The gave Melo an MRI, saw fluid, allowed him to play? They then cleared him to play against GS? They then decided he needed to get his knee drained a week later? Shadiest medical staff in the NBA. I don't mind if they just want to say "we won't disclose the injury, tests are being conducted", but they blatantly call someone day to day and don't give immediate test, only 2-3 days later give the test and then rule the player out for a long time Depending on Chandler's injury, I agree with these pictures. Chandler makes us go.
Camby, IDK if he is healthy though. Chris Herring @HerringWSJ Chandler said he doesn't want the knee examined. Says he'll play tomorrow if he can get up and down the floor Howard Beck @HowardBeckNYT Carmelo: "I was always concerned. I was just kind of being naïve...just trying to psyche myself out and say `I can do it, I can do it.' " Also on the above tweet, where are the Knicks doctors in this. Hey Tyson, you HAVE to have your knee examined to make sure everything is okay. Hey MElo, you are going to feel better quicker if you get your knee examined and drained.
knicks on national TV almost every game now, not a good time for that you had last night, portland/knicks TNT tonight, and then I saw an ESPN ad for Knicks/Jazz on Monday
what a turd Lebron is, if he had picked the Knicks he would own this town! (and they would be winning championships)
I 100% agree with you. I do not mind them not disclosing it, but don't lie to us, and maybe, their players too. Also, I believe the Lakers game he injured a completely different knee. Either way, whatever the case is, they are so pathetic with how they go about this. If they are hurt, why not just tell the damn player and sit them. Even worse, I am 100% sure Woodson had to have been notified of every injury report. Why the hell would he let Melo do what Melo wants. For goodness sake, you are the damn coach, make a coaching decision. PROTECT YOUR FRANCHISE AND YOUR FUTURE.
Howard Beck @HowardBeckNYT Carmelo Anthony is flying to NY and expected to have his knee drained later today. Knicks have not ruled out his return for Sun game in LA Watch out for Felton trying to "show" Portland up. Said it was the worst point of his career. If Felton can attack the paint more, will open stuff up for well whoever we throw out there. Assuming Chandler/Melo out: Felton, Shump, Kidd, Prig, Smith are our guards. Novak, Copeland are our 3s KMART, Camby, Thomas are our 4/5. Very very small lineup.
From http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-t...ounded-and-the-continued-genius-of-marc-gasol I think the problem is in his last paragraph, will we be healthy heading into the playoffs and through the playoffs? In the past year we have suffered Lin, Davis, Shump, Amare, and Sheed. 5 season ending injuries. 3 unexpectedly, 1 kind of expected but not really, 1 due to age mostly.
