He banged knees kind of with Brewwer and his left knee buckled. damn. If Tyson Chandler is out, there goes the season.
And there probably goes the season if he is out. Hopefully it was just the impact not the actual interior knee.
Chandler walks off with help of Cope and White to locker room. Limping gingerly with those two helping. Almost no weight on the KNEE
03/13/13 08:48:30pm Pacific NBA: Game 619-620 (ORN# 2023-2024) Injury Status Games PTS REB AST STL BLK New York C Tyson Chandler knee OUT 61 10.8 11.1 0.9 0.6 1.2 left game, will NOT return.
By the way, in the last year: Lin, knee injury out the year Amare, two knee injuries, missed most of the year Chandler, new knee injury, who know. Melo, knee injury since December. Tendinitis or something. Shumpert, acl gone. Baron Davis, acl gone. EDIT: Only one of those are "old/injury prone" related. I purposely left off Camby and Sheed of the list.
Thankfully for us, no team in the east plays at this pace. The teams in the East play at our pace or even slower. We do need wins on this WC trip though. If we lose tonight, BK is only 1.5 back and they have tiebreker most likely.
@NY_KnicksPR: Tyson Chandler has a contused left knee. He will not return Medically people, good or bad? Also this is Knicks PR so decipher contused knee
Also the Knicks should be giving Tyson an X-Ray and MRI. None of this wait 2 days stuff. Get it checked out right away.
@seth_rosenthal: Alan Hahn says "no MRI scheduled" re: Tyson. I also just heard no X-ray. Why, Knicks? Somebody more medically inclined, is there a downside to getting a XRAY or MRI?
If Tyson is out extended time, yep easily. This team's "Big three" was Amare, Melo, Tyson. All of them injured, one isn't coming back, one says he won't be 100% the rest of the season, the other was just put in the hands of the Knicks medial staff
