Given our cap situation, lack of starters/veterans, and his connection to B-more I'm guessing they at least kick the tires. His ability to lay some wood on the Patsies is just icing on the cake.
Exactly. That's something we can all agree on. The ultimate goal in all of this is pollard playing them twice a year.
Someone in the AFC East should sign him, whoever plays the Pats first. Hypothetically the Jets. The Jets then trade Pollard and swap 7th round picks to MIA for when MIA plays NE. MIA then swaps 7s with BUF to get him against NE. Then BUF sends him back to NYJ as they originally signed him.
The NFL would just create yet another rule to protect Brady and the Patsies. Anytime Brady gets a little sand in his vagina the NFL rules committee is right there to sweep it out.
Revis signing for less than 11M? Impossible. If Revis was to agree to this contract, he'll play great next season & then hold out to force Jets to raise salary from 11M to 15-16M. That's the whole reason Revis is on the trading block. =========== Back to Pollard: Pollard was set to make only 2 Million. Please sign him ASAP. Give him 3M if he wants a raise.
NFL: Ravens release S Bernard Pollard I know some of us were interested in Bernard Pollard and hoping he would be cut including me and it turns out the Ravens have cut S Pollard, maybe we are eyeing one of these FA S after letting Bell walk ? i would like the move if we sign Landry and have Pollard play we would have 2 hard hitting S's that would make teams piss their beds at night. sorry if this was already a thread or was brought up but i didnt see anything link is here http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000150319/article/bernard-pollard-released-by-baltimore-ravens
Not really NY Jets news, but still I like Pollard. It could get scary having him and Landry (if he stays) in the backfield. That would be a TE's worst nightmare.
