I still think we'll get a first plus at least one pick for him. I know we aren't dealing from a position of power but we have a one of a kind commodity and multiple teams are supposedly interested.

Hopefully Idzik does us proud here.

I've heard Schefter say all along that a first would not be involved.

There's 22 players on the field, so you single out Revis for that one, lol.

I'm hearing CB Darelle Revis will be traded to the Bucs. Details just need to be ironed out.

EDIT: See my post below, post #196

no, that isn't what he is saying at all. he is saying shutting down one receiver doesn't win games which is what is being lauded as the value of Revis.

Hypothetical: Foles, Bryce Brown, and a 3rd rounder for Revis. Would you say yes?

Saw the report of a Revis to Bucs and a trade being worked out. Told that's not true at this point.

    Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet
Asked another Bucs source if a trade is being worked out for Revis: "No. I don't know where it is headed."

i don't think we will get the 13 from the bucs

i could see us getting a 2 and conditional 2 next year

with the cap problems we have, a couple of 2's may be better than a single 1.

Are rookie contracts still a lot even with the wage scale? I think we could afford two 1sts just fine

We can afford two firsts, they won't find a CB of revis's caliber at 13 so I wouldn't be shocked if we could pull it off.

I could see a 2 this year and 2 next year. Hopefully it's from a team at the top 1/2 of the round....

Not saying I'm thrilled with that compensation but the jets are in a quandary and there's no turning back with revis.

    Move on.

This is the most logical, but change the 2nd next year to a conditional.

If we take two second round picks for Revis I will completely quit on this team. Idzik is not an idiot. He won't do that.

    Will he?

SF for 31 and 34 makes the most sense if you look at the draft value chart.

That's equal to the 13 overall pick.

    For Revis?

What are expecting for a CB coming off ACL & can't be franchised & has a rep for always holding out for new contracts?
