oh well, they had a brief glimmer. if there wasn't typical duke BS all night this game would be a lot closer.
How should I interpret it? You said they were off the bubble and shouldn't even be discussed. Was there some hidden meaning to that?
yeah. you should have read the last post. The bottom line is this, UK does not belong in the Tourney as of today. They should have to win a game or 2 in the SEC Tourney
vitale "the presence of Kelly"- please stop insulting our intelligence. Kelly did absolutely nothing all game long, he didn't do anything himself and didn't open up anything for others.
As usual, you resort to childish insults because you cannot hang w/ others in debates. What is meaningless? You said UK is off the bubble and out of the discussion. Then you said they're on the bubble. Which is it?
the truth is not an insult. It's your posting style. You make an awful case for UK in the Tourney so you have to focus on a meaningless point.
It's not a meaningless point. I am dealing in facts here. Obviously UK belongs in the tournament but we can't even talk about that now because I don't know what your position is. Are two different people posting under your username?
READ slower and you'll see what I felt about UK. They are on the bubble now(or should be) and need to win a game or 2 in the SEC Tourney. Calipari has a spell over you just like your old weak memphis arguments from 2009.
Obviously w/ an RPI of 54 and SOS of 73 in a weak SEC, b/c they beat UF at HOME they clearly belong in. Never mind losing at Georgia a few nights ago, going 4-4 in their last 8 including 4 double digit losses to only only 1 sure tourney team but they're in!
Calipari doesn't have a "spell" over me. I don't like him or Kentucky. You try reading slower. You posted this tonight: UNC has a spell over you because every year you make weak arguments about how all the refs are out to get them, with no basis in reality.
That drives me nuts... so because Florida decided to not score the final 8 minutes of the game yesterday we should all of a sudden forget the mediocre at best team Kentucky has put out there the last month and half of the season. Should we forget the brutal loss to Tennessee? The loss to Georgia? You take Kentucky off the jersey and this team does not belong in the field. At least Villanova has impressive wins over Gtown and Louisville, what does Kentucky have? Before yesterday their best win was @ Ole Miss.
Villanova and Kentucky are both considered in now. It's not like it's one or the other for the last at large bid. Speaking of what drives you nuts, how about discrediting wins over elite teams because "the opponent decided not to score"? UK is pretty good defensively. Baylor's win over KU shouldn't count because KU decided not to score.

No, that's not my point. You shouldn't go from outside to in because you beat one elite team at home. You can't look at Kentucky's schedule and say they didn't have chances even with Noel to beat elite teams. Duke, Louisville, (they lost by 17 the 1st time they played Florida) The bottom line is Kentucky has far too many losses to overcompensate for their one good win. I wouldn't say losing to Notre Dame is a bad loss because the Irish are a tourney team but they lost to quite a few non tourney teams like Bama, Baylor, and Arkansas. Then you have the really bad losses... A&M, Georgia and the 30 point loss to Tennessee.Their best OOC win was against Maryland. You take Kentucky off the jersey and replace with Vanderbilt and there isn't evena discussion about them even being on the bubble. You also need to evaluate them without Noel in whch they are 3-3 with some of those abolve really bad losses. Why is Villnova in? Despite the bad loss to Columbia they've beaten some really good teams. Both Louisville and Gtown could win the National Title and they've got some bad losses in conference as well they have taken advantage of their oppurtunties.
