To be honest, I don't care who they bring in at this point. Competition is a GOOD thing no matter who it's from. Having said that, at least this year should be HONEST competition! From what I know Sanchez knew he was the man...hopefully this year it's anybody's to win and that should drive them all. We aren't getting a top flight QB for this year so it is what it is. I swear to god if the Jets draft a QB this year in any other round but the 4th on down I'll be pissed!
Just out of curiosity, who exactly did you guys think we were going to bring in? I know everyone has a stiffy for Matt Moore but guess what, he only blows marginally less than anyone we have. This is the caliber of guys that are available, expecting anything more than a Quinn type was just stupid on your part. Then I see people praying for Trent Edwards? Are you shitting me? How is he ANY better than Brady Quinn? Hint: he's not. If you thought we were going to have anything more than a stopgap, low level QB, it's your own fault.
fucking hell brady quinn? hated the guy when he was in college, and he sucked in the nfl, and now the jets are gonna pick him up? pretty much same career trajectory as tebow, except quinn bounced around a little more before coming to the jets to die. woohoo. doubt quinn beats out sanchez in camp... just sayin

Can we at least find one quarterback that won't make sanchez look good? Because that seems to be their agenda at the moment. "See, we brought in competition! Mark just happened to beat them out fair and square! He gives us the best chance to win, we told you!"

This means the Jets don't like this QB draft class(at least early rounds) which could be a good thing. Alot of tough projections. Jets can get some big time talent in this draft just by going BPA w/ an emphasis on playmaking explosion . Although the "Wait till next year for a QB" card is royally overplayed almost on a yearly basis..this year it is kinda true.
exactly what they need to bring in.they are not wasting draft picks or spending valuable cap space on somebody who might get us to the play offs if they have a career year. i am so happy to hear that moore,smith,flynn will probably not be here
just because we get brady quinn we don't like the QBs in this draft? could just be me, but im not getting that vibe. brady quinn stinks, he could literally just come in and get cut or traded (remember what happened with drew stanton?) its not like john idzik is sitting in his office saying "wow, we got brady quinn! now if geno smith falls to us at 9 we don't need to take him!"
