I'm not sure how many of these I havemade on here, but it's about 5. I make mocks on another site to and often get confused.

    for this one:

    - Holmes contract is restructured.
    - Tebow is traded to Chicago for a 7th round pick.
    - Cromartie is traded to Denver for a 2nd and 4th round pick.
    - Revis gets an extension 4 yr/ 52 mil.
    - Landry is also resigned for 2 yr/12 mil.

    1. Jarvis Jones (OLB, Georgia)
    - we trade spots with TB so they can draft Dee Milliner. they give up a 3 and a 5 to do so. I think JJ is still around at 13 overall. we need an explosive pass rusher and JJ fills that need for us. he's beenmedically cleared by doctors so his spinal issue isn't of any concern to me.

    2a. DeAndre Hopkins (WR, Clemson)
    - NukHopkins is always in my mocks because I like whathe brings to the table. DeAndre is a quick, reliable receiver. he has some of the best hands I've ever seen. he could play slot for us, or play outside. will eventually take over Holmes role, when we get rid of him.

    2b. Stepfan Taylor (RB, Stanford)
    - Taylor is a back the Jets are invested in. he was Stanford's workhorse. was a solid blocker and receiver. will replace Shonn Greene who I'm almost certain we will let walk.

3a. Jamie Collins (OLB, Southern Miss)
    - Collins may go in the second. his stock is on the rise from the show he put on at the combine. in any case, I could also see him going early third. with Collins and Jones we add two unique pass rushers to our defense, paired with our DLine our Jets will generate lots of sacks. Collins was the only bright spot for Southern Miss.

    3b. Travis Kelce (TE, Cincinatti)
    - Keller's replacement and probably the most polished tight end in the draft class. he had an awesome senior season but missed the Senior Bowl due to injury. Kelce adds to our passing attack and will be a huge RZ target.

    3c. Tony Jefferson (S, Oklahoma)
    - we trade one of our 4th's and a 6th to get back into the 3rd round. we draft a great coverage safety to compliment Landry. Jefferson will also make up for the loss of Cromartie and will help out over the top if Kyle Wilson gets beat a lot (which he will).

    4a. Oday Aboushi (OT, Virginia)
    - we need help on our OLine, especially at RT. we put a 2nd round tender on Howard but I don't expect anyone to give up a 2nd for him. Oday will compete for the starting RT job in training camp. very quick on the edge and has improved his run blocking/pass defending.

4b. Tyrann Mathieu (CB, formerly LSU)
    - we trade our 5th and one of our 7's to get back intot he 4th round. we draft the Honey Badger to beournew punt returner. hecan't play corner, imo. maybe nickel. primarily a ST guy with some safety and nickel corner thrown in there. I like what the Honey Badger brings to the table. he's a fantasic football player, will add another dynamic to this squad.

    5. Tavarres King (WR, Georgia)
    - King is an excellent late round pick up and adds depth to our receiving corps. King's strong suite is his route running, he could excel in our offense andmaybe even become a starter sometime down the line.

    7. Sean Renfree (QB, Duke)
    - Renfree will be our 3rd stringer, but will most likely see some starts when Sanchez messes up and McElroy doesn't win us games.

Sexy draft - I do worry about Stepfan Taylor's 40 time though. Some offensive lineman ran faster, but game speed is always different than a 40 time ...

I watched some tape yesterday after I say the 11' 7" jump, and he would need to improve his discipline.

I like it, but am I missing where the 5th round picks went? Also, the 7th for Tebow?

I just fixed it. King is actually our 5th round pick and we don't have a 6 because of trades. you don't think we could at least get a 7 for Tebow?

    Solid mock overall.

Im just unsure of Jarvis Jones and his medical history. Last thing this franchise needs is a top 10 draft pick to be out of the league in 3-5 years like Marcus McNiell from the Chargers. For a team that has to be looking towards the future, I would personally stay away.

Also Stepfan Taylor in the 2nd I think is a bit of a reach. Honestly, I would rather try and get Gio or Lacy with our first 2nd and then try and get a receiver (Hopkins, Wheaton, Patton). He's a solid overall RB, but in a class so deep, I dont really think anyone besides GIo or Lacy are worth and 2nd rounder. His 40 time is not something to be thrilled over either.

A number of guys putting off surgery until after the combine is one thing (Milliner, Jordan), but this is a whole different ball game. Georgia and League doctors gave Jones a clean bill of health. So why didn't the University of Southern California doctors which caused him to transfer to Georgia in the first place? Why the difference of medical opinion?

Just to play devil's advocate, Georgia only gave up one scholarship and got themselves a helluva football player by giving him a "clean bill of health." However, if it doesn't pan out in the pros, you're not only out many millions of dollars but you've blown yet another top 10 draft pick (Gholston, Sanchez). Further, the risks associated with surgery are supposedly significant as is the post-op downtime. Looking at the big picture, I'm seeing red flags - I wouldn't touch him. Gimme someone as close to a 'sure thing' as possible: a fat guy from Alabama.

what it came down to was, we have two second rd picks. one early on rd 2 and one late in rd 2. I really want Hopkins and I don't think he'd be available later on. Gio and Lacy will most certainly be gone around the overall 50 and up picks which is where our 2nd second will be.

Honestly, if we had this many draft picks, I would trade up a few spots and get on of the two if it came down to that. With that being said, I think one will be around by our second round pick. Not many teams need a starting RB and I could see Gio falling a little with not an outstanding combine.

IMO, the drop off after Gio/Lacy and the next RB is a lot bigger than Hopkins and whoever else is next, but thats just me.

late 2/early 3. I'm a big fan of DJ, he plays very similar to Landry.but with us resigning LL, we should draft a coverage safety over a hitter to compliment LL.

I dont dislike the players, I think how you take them is off. Taylor looked bad this weekend, I dont see him as a second round pick. I also think your underselling Aboushi a bit

Nice job but Revis won't be a Jet and Cromartie is staying.

As it stands, the Jets have their original pick in each round (1-7)

According to your trades, the Jets will acquire a 2nd, 4th,and 7th round pick.

Yet in the mock draft, the Jets have the following:
    1st - (1)
    2nd - (2)
    3rd - (3)
    4th - (2)
    5th - (1)
    6th - (0)
    7th - (1)

I like most of the players in the draft, but can't evaluate the mock until thats cleared up, personally.

read through it, it will all be clear.

we swap firsts with TB to acquire a 3rd and a 5th. and we trade back into rounds 3 and 4.
