Anderson has a sprained ankle and is day to day. I'd expect a couple of weeks, Sens are deep at goalie and they won't rush him back, Bishop is a perfectly serviceable player and Lehner is one of the hottest goalie prospects around. As for the Sens, you all wrote us off last season as well and we came close to putting the Rangers out in the first round. This is a team with a plan and an ethos and a fuckload of raw talent, it's just a little bit of experience that's missing.

I know what you mean about the Leafs and it's hard to buy into them because they're the Leafs, but they look to be playing in a much more structured way than they have for a while. There's a consistency to their game; they're working hard, they're forechecking across four lines, and the likes of Kessel and Kadri have stopped trying to win every game on their own.

I don't buy Montreal. They're one PK Subban meltdown away from being a basketcase again, and it must be about time for Markov's traditional season ending injury.

Rumor is Christian Thomas has been called up. Really small kid with a really big shot. He's turned it around recently in the AHL after a slow start. Should help our PP at the very least.

    #NYR D-pairs in practice: McDonagh-Girardi, Gilroy-Stralman, Bickel-Eminger. If that's case tonight, look for McD-G to play approx. 35 min

Hockey Night In Canada just replayed the Lucic hit from the Boston game and reckon it's a concussion caused by Lucic driving Nash's head into the glass with his forearm.
