I have a feeling the Chargers will snag him when Joeckel and Fisher are taken before.

    MY OL Combine reaction

Posted my OL Combine reaction here if you're interested. I told you about Johnson (pre-combine #1 LT) and Armstead (pre-combine #6 LT)!

Whats the story with this Walter Stewart guy from Cincinnati? 6-4 248. Guy was born with a congenital defect in his spine, missed the last 2 months of 2012 & was about to retire from football.
Now they're all talking about him being 1st or 2nd rounder??

I've also become a little intrigued by Sam Montgomery LSU as a 3-4 rush OLB prospect for our 2nd round pick only.

    Thoughts?

He's a good tackler with good quickness. I like him but it's hard for me to see him in the top 50, especially with all the pass rushers in this draft. I think between 50-100 is a likely range for him. Just my opinion though.

4.88 and 4.82 for Gavin Escobar. Ouch...

I'd consider him in the third round for the Jets, especially if they have the opportunity to trade down and pick up an extra day two pick.

I wonder if passing on Teo could end up Sapp like, I hope not.

I think the third round might be too early for him, but I hope Jets can find a tall redzone target like Plaxico a couple of years ago and this draft has a bunch of interesting 6-5, 6-6 tight ends.

Hopefully Stephen Hill can start using that 6-4 frame to better become that...

I get the impression there's some good value at TE on day two and early day three. I'd like to see the Jets get somebody to pair with Jeff Cumberland.

I've been seeing Escobar mentioned as a 2nd round guy on some sites. After the disappointing 40-times, I'll bet there's a chance he slips. I'd also like to see them consider MSU TE Dion Sims (who checked in lighter and quicker than expected) or Rice TE Vance McDonald, who has been getting more looks lately.

I've also just been reading that Cincinnati TE Travis Kelce has some significant character concerns, which would make me wary of him.

I didnt see how he did with the Bench Press or with the drills but can he be a potential OL we take and put him to RG or RT? He is fast enough to stop a speed rush

He will most certainty be drafted lower than he should (I expect him to be a pro bowler... we'll see), but no Jets fans will be shouting "Te'o! Te'o!" at the nine.

Imagine him on a team like the Ravens or Texans? Definitely has the potential to be a consistent pro bowler.

Call me crazy, I wouldn't be too upset drafting him at 9 if the board didnt fall like we had hoped.

Me neither, though we could theoretically trade down and still get him

Most definitely, but if we can't, he'd be my selection for sure. Fills a need and would actually hold very good value, even with the "controversy".

If we draft Te'o we would probably trade back...we will all be tuned in to see what he does at the combine.... but one thing that surprised me is Jarvis Jones not participating in the combine. Id pass on him in draft day

Jarvis Jones anyone? If he checks out ok with the medical staff he'd be a steal at 9
