He'll probably still be the first pick. Unless of course teams are thinking of Greg Oden!

Talent wise we do..the issue is young coach learning on the job essentially and a pretty solid conference. I'm not naive enough to think that we are the #2 or 3 conference in the country but the MWC is tough and while Wyoming or Air Force aren't powerhouses by any stretch winning in their arenas is tough because of the elevation. Not too many teams go to New Mexico and walk away with a win and I think Colorado State has won like 25 or 26 straight games at Moby. I don't think talent wise we are elite but I do think the MWC has some of the toughest road games of any conference due to distance and logistics.

Carolina played almost well enough to win, just couldn't make FTs. frustrating ending but to go into that environment and play the way they did is a good sign. Now they need to build on this.

UNC got in the bonus early in the second half, too, but failed to press the advantage

James didn't play at all and Hubert played only one minute, so UNC basically played without big men. McAdoo and five guards were the guys that got minutes. Duke was using Plumlee and four guards when they could.

they stopped attacking the rim in the 2nd half and when they got to the line they missed their FTs.

Kelly Olynyk's hairband came off during a Gonzaga offensive play. He goes back to pick it up, and the announcers say Gonzaga is playing 4 on 5 until he gets his hair situation figured out.

Right after he picks the band up, while still holding it, the ball is passed to him and he drives to the basket and shoots a layup

UK down 30+ to Tennessee in their first game without Noel.

They're 17-8 overall and 8-4 in the SEC.

Maybe Kentucky will collapse and not make the Tourney. I would love it.

SU is playing like shit against Seton hall!

Why does SU get the worst announcers in BBall. so far the idiots have called Brandon Trish "Teague" twice and said that southerland missed 6 games with an injury. Is it too much to ask the announcers to be professional enough and do a little prework and figure out the player names and that Southerland missed 6 games for academic reasons not injury.

UK was a bubble team w/ Noel, they aren't making it w/o him.

good weekend in CBB w/ the Heels bounving back w/ a nice win over UVa and duke losing again.

On a related note, it is so sickening the excuses they try to make for duke.

#1- they act like Ryan Kelly is the player of the year, he's a role player but they make it seem like they lost the best player in the Country.

#2- all game long talking about playing 3 games in 6 days as if they are the only team to do this. They played 3 middle tier ACC teams, this wasn't a tough stretch. can they ever lose w/o excuses fromt heir PR amchine that trickles down to espn?

Duke is always going to get the benefit of the doubt as long as Coach K is there. Just is what it is.

'Nova dodges a bullet and comes out with a big second half to beat Rutgers. 17-10, 8-6 in the Big East. Four games left, 3 against ranked opponents. If they take care of business against Seton Hall and can steal a win against Marquette, Pitt or G'Town, 20 wins and 10 in the Big East should put them in the tourney.
