Howard was a pleasant surprise last year but now in a zone blocking scheme he becomes a huge question mark again imo. Definitely bring him back tho, we don't have many options. Id say bring him back and draft an OG in the first 3 rds.

I'd take the second rounder but unfortunately, Tanny, the only GM that would give up a second rounder for Austin, was not hired by another team. I would still try to sign someone else for competition. Winston Justice had a decent year last year with Indy at least to start; he wouldn't break the bank.

Howard is a restricted free agent. The organization has a right to put a tender on the market, but must pay the tender amount if a team doesn't make an offer. However, if a team does make an offer, and the Jets don't match the offer, they receive a 2nd round pick from the offering team. If the Jet's do match an offer, and Howard chooses to go to the offering team, the Jet's get a 2nd round pick. No one is saying lets trade Howard, and flip a project.
