Of course I do. Without Junc or Me, this would be a useless tool of Nacho bashing that ended in 30 posts. Without someone correct, you'd get tired of being wrong.
Under absolutely corprophagous coaching. But look at the other thread, Moore,Flynn, Jackson ....? aYFKM. And ...to be honest Schotty didn't do any better with a better cast in ST Louis. That earns Sanchez a break. And a one year try out. That's really the only point.
When have I ever posted something that deals with "because I said so"? 95% of my posts have reasoning behind them. You may not like that reasoning, but its there, and the majority here feel the same way on this subject (of Sanchez).
If you say so. But, as I've been saying since Pennington was here...you then need to justify the coaching, you can't. Junc and I will wait. Tell us, how great Schottenheimer and Sparano are. I won't hold my breath.
I cant and I wont tell you that, because they were not good coaches. I can admit that and Im sure 95% of people will. I guess the main difference between you and Junc vs the rest of us is that you two believe that coaching solves everything and that coaching is purely to blame for Sanchez's regression. I definitely think that coaching, along with a problematic FO, had a big part in Sanchez's regression, but there's fundamentals that he could have shown to instill hope in the franchise and fanbase that he is in fact the QB we need. You can read my last post in this thread here and tell me how much "he sucks because I said so" I use- http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=76722&page=49
Simple quesetion...if they were not good coaches, how can you judge the talent? You can't. It's that simple. And the only point I've made all along, is that you don't kick the 5 overall to the curb...now that you've hired a legitimate OC. Go back and look. If he still sucks you cut bait and move on. But you cannot afford to have another Gholston error. Especially when you already know you did not have the proper coaching in place, that was not the case with Gholston, Rex is a defensive mastermind. Sanchez has never had that benefit. The jury is OUT
Nacho haters have everything pertaining to the argument of getting rid of him, on their side. History, except a couple playoff games which he played good, and a few regular season games, but the rest of his career he has proven that he blows chunks! Blame coaching, personel, Tebow breathing down his neck, confidence or lack of it, the weather, his upbringing or anything else you can muster. To the lovers of nacho, who see the game supposedly better than any other Jet fans, he will get his last trial due to money and that is the only reason. He doesn't deserve it but will get it. MM may help him to a degree, but he won't save him, any bet takers? Beyond stats or anything relative to playing the Qb position, taco doesn't have "IT" and there is no denying that. Wait and see lovers of nacho, wait and see.
couldnt agree more. he is a troll and hopefully someone with more power than i can shut him down as you are correct it makes the thread useless. he has gotten to me to the point where i have him on ignore and only get to see what he is quoted as saying. and even that is painful. just like his response to this post.
it really has become a typical response. absolutely amazing stuff. you couldnt have put it any more concisely.
I dont think its that simple. You cant just chalk everything up to poor coaching. He doesnt just get a clean slate after 4 years as a starter. Does coaching have anything to do with his mentality and leadership ability? Nope, not at all. Sanchez deserves blame, and he is worse now than he was coming in as a rookie. To say coaching will change that change that is a stretch (and thats an understatement). Cam Newton's offensive coordinator was fired and was a victim of poor coaching. The difference is, that he showed brilliance. He statistically had the best 2 years ever as a entering QB. Phillip Rivers and Drew Brees had to endure the coaching of Schotty, yet they still showed signs of their future. Hell, Chad Henne this past year was on a poorly coached Jags team and showed signs of decency. Point is, is that despite coaching, a QB can still show signs of progress and a reason to hang onto him. In the last 2 years Sanchez hasnt.
I get a warning in regards to being upset in this thread and calling out some people, but nyjunc continues to get away with backhanded insults...?
I didn't say that. What I've said, is that with poor coaching, and poor systems a big variable, the jury is out. This year MM removes that variable.
since when is marty mornhinwheg the end all be all OC? lets remember this is the guy who was so smart he led his team as a head coach to a 5-27 mark. made possibly one of the worst decision of recent football memory kicking in sudden death overtime and led the all star like eagles (hehe they said it not me) to sucking a huge cock.. since when is he THE guy. honestly i think he will be WORSE than the rest of them, and we really dont even need a running back with him calling 50 pass plays a game even though he had very good running backs.
If I'm reading you correctly you aren't saying Nacho doesn't suck, you're saying the OC's sucked. I'm pretty sure Junc was a Shotty suck up as well as a Sanchez suck up so I'm not really sure where the two of you actually agree? You might want to work this out with Junc so that you are actually on the same page.
