game killed mel last night. Team fell asleep after going up 2-0. and really I like Biron, but aside from his kiler record versus the Isles, he seems to me to play better on the road. he should have stopped at least one of those wristers. Richards blows right now, I was noticing how shittyy he played the 1st period, nice to see him benched. Hopefully he'll wake up. Gaborik despite his goal still playing wimpy to me, no surprise I guess. The PP is a joke despite the goal.....can't balme coaching o so much on that, the players play it timidly and still refuse to shoot and get in front of the goal. PP101.
Hagelin - 6 pts. in his last 3 games i think. the transforming "biscuit burying beast" is on a roll with two eggs and butter right now.
MR, who cares about our backup goalie? He is gonna play about 8 games this year. And obviously not at in playoffs. And before you say " what if Hank goes down long term", it doesnt really matter does it. If Hank is hurt long term, we're done. Andif judged amongst other back ups in the league, Marty ranks pretty well. Silly rabbit
I agree with Johnny on this one. Marty B is not a bad back up at all. The Canucks and Devils have very good back up talent in net.
Youre way off base on this one MR.....the numbers dont lie. You want to point to one game and tell me you want to replace him? Silly. HOw bout the other game he played this year? He also robbed Tavares about 4 times last night, although I agree he didnt play well.
Anyone that's trying to blame the loss on Biron last night is in denial about the problems this team has. Right before the Islanders got their 2nd and 3rd goal, the Rangers broke down several times and gave up awful rushes. That's a fact. This team has GLARING holes, specifically in the areas they prided themselves on last year. At this point, the first thing I would change on the PP is scrap this whole 4-forwards, 1 d system. The only reason you would conceivably do this is to give yourself one extra scoring option, particularly with a forward that has a snipe of a shot from the point. The Rangers don't have that, and thus are only creating a welcome opportunity for an odd man rush the other way. For as poorly as the PP is right now, there's no reason to stick with the 4/1 system. The benefits of the extra forward are nowhere near worth the risks that come with it.
I also love that there has to be a goat in every game. It's Boyle, it's Del Zotto, it's Biron. It goes well past that. The team is not playing well as a unit. If you can't see that you're not watching games objectively enough.
That don't mean shit, right at this moment he is not good, it's a 2 goal difference from when Hank plays
Just fucking with all of you...Biron is not the problem, he's an adequate backup, one big problem last night was Richards on the PP point, enough with that experiment, I think they should put nash on the point and tell him to shoot, everytime he gets the puck....disappointed in Kreids being sent down, but he wasn't going to play him anyway...when you're ahead 2-0 you have to have a killer instinct and finish them off and we don't...
