Nash is the best player on the team, then comes Hank and Staal,
MDZ < PK Subban, same salary, Subban is better
Boyle deserves back in but where? Halpern, Powe, Asham, Miller, Kreids all playing well...Gilroy the #6 now, Emminger sent to the Whale...

I don't know if Boyle does deserve back in. He's left in the dust out there with a lot of these line combos. I like him, and he's a player that you root for, but he's gotta bring more to the table than only faceoffs and blocked shots. Can't have someone as a liability the rest of the time.

Tonight is a big game for Miller and the Rangers for deciding the kid's fate for the rest of the year. I think they'll have to keep him in but I don't think the decision is as obvious as a lot of us think it is. Despite him playing decently well, I also think it was a coincidence that he was brought up when the juggernaut line got broken up and divied out across the lineup. It would be easy to equate the team success with him coming along because of the wins coming, but he obviously has some developing to do. It'll be interesting.

MDZ is a +6 with 6 pts in 12 gms averaging 22 mins/night so far and I see he's the whipping boy so far for you guys. Is he turning the puck over? Making terrible break out passes? Bad penalties? I still don't understand, but then again I've only watched two NYR games so far. He's also 22, D-men usually aren't done developing their game til much later than forwards I find.

Right off the top of my head:

Got caught behind his own net allowing a 2 on 1 break-out goal.

Fell flat on his ass in the corner of the ice with the puck while his team had a 3 on one opportunity.

    Did you miss these games?

His 4th year and he gives the puck away every other shift and is always caught up the ice, Staal covers up for him

Marty Biron first goalie off for #NYR. Good sign he's starting. Not unexpected

What I meant to say was he's using his big frame to drive the net, he clearly doesnt like to hit people still ha

Either him or Captain America for sure. Both are invaluable
