The final score would suggest that.

Especially given the TV 'Cuse/Boeheim suckup announcers (esp. the color commentator who molested the Wisconsin coach yesterday after beating #3 Michigan) who poo-poo'd St. John's at every opportunity during their repeated 2nd half "10-pts-to-5-pt" comebacks today.

Rebels with an awesome defensive effort last night beating New Mexico at home... I kid you not. Anthony Bennett was dunking like Larry Johnson last night.

For the record I think we lose @ Air Force on Wednesday. I just have no faith in this team on the road. The Falcons are not horrible but we always suck ass at Clune and Wednesday should be no different.

UNLV has the talent to play and beat anyone in the Country.

I think IU should stay #1, there's nop shame in losing at illinois then they came back and beat up OSU on the road while all the top teams lost.

The heels got crushed at Miami, Miami is really good but if they are going to shoot 60% from 3 they will beat ANYONE in the Country. i just hope we don't see another slow start and duke bombing away from 3 all game, I don't expect them to win at Cameron but I want them to at leats be competitive.

I could not disagree with you more. I don't know HOW you could not support Gonzaga jumping five spots to the #1 position after their complete dominance this week against powehouses Pepperdine (11-13) and Loyola Marymount (8-16). Cap that off with an impressive 1-2 record against the top 25 teams, and it is Gonzaga that should take their rightful spot as the number one team in the country.

They will surely show their place this week as they travel to St. Mary's (21-4, 0-1 against the top 25) for what is no doubt the single most hostile, blood-feud in all of college basketball. Forget about the Dean Dome, The Rupp Arena, or Cameron, no stadium in all of sports provides a bigger home field advantage than McKeon Arena. You can bet that huge mass of humanity that is 3,400 screaming fans that would break down any team will provide more challenge to Gonzaga than any single entity in all of sports!

winning nearly all of their games including whipping OU who just beat Kansas and beating Okie State who is a good team. Their 2 losses aren't bad losses. Do I think they are one of the 5 best teams? No but they deserve to be ranked in the top 5. The rankins aren't about who the 5 best teams are at the moment.

So again, you feel that a team that is 1-2 against top 25 teams should be ranked in the top 5 in the nation.

'Nova loses to Cinci in a very physical game they really needed to win. They got punched in the mouth early and never recovered.

Shows how much a team can accomplish by simply having a quality coach.

Lavin won't coach again tomorrow night when SJU plays @ Louisville. I don't know how to put this any other way except it's tough luck for the team that his father had to die now. The two most difficult games of the seasons and we will be missing Coach for both.

Not to mention we will get a angry Louisville team after their debacle with ND

We win this game and we are in discussion as a bubble team for the tournament

Nerlens Noel suffered what appeared to be a serious knee injury last night, which would destroy UK's season. I don't even know if they even make the NCAA tournament if he's done.

We're actually already a bubble team. We're 3rd team out on ESPN Bracketology. We're a 12 seed according to Yahoo. We win tomorrow and we are in the field.
