Funny thing that has almost nothing to do with our chances...

I broke a mirror almost seven years ago (in 2007). You know that whole saying about breaking a mirror and getting unlucky for 7 years. I feel fairly lucky, but maybe the Jets were unlucky those seven years. Maybe for some strange reason, everything breaks just right and we're in the Superbowl in 2014 because of the curse being over.

Yes Armand. The NY Jets fate is decided by you. The secret is out now and thousands of Jets fans are making their way over to your house with baseball bats and tire irons.

It's ridiculous and probably not true. But, that's superstition for you :breakdance:

It's not about how good or bad this team is.

What matters is, how effective they are with respect to other teams in competition. Since Jets are in real cap hell, they have much weaker growth potential than other teams. Jets must have one hell of a draft ("hit-it-out-of-the-park" home-run type of draft from round 1 to 7 all around.) to even dream of being competitive.

And only fitting that the guy who wrote that's name is "cantwait" haha.

Yea we could be good. Depends how the draft and FA go for us. We could also be worse. If I flip a coin it could be heads or tails...

    1. We won't find a new franchise QB this draft. 2014 if things go salty this year we will find him.
    2. Gio Bernard / Eddie Lacy 2nd round
    3. Chance Warmack in the first round - 3 first rounders on the offensive line. The line will be shored up here.
    4. Coples, Wilkerson will step up their games, not sure where you would find a pass-rusher, instead of Warmack you could go with Dion Jordan - I don't think J.Jones makes it to us.
    5. Kendrick Ellis is the heir apparent to Pouha. Let Dunbar teach him, he's a great defensive line coach.
    6. Address in the draft

We have a spot for McClain. His job in Oakland wasn't to rush the passer IMO. I think he has that versatility in his game, to cover, stop the run, and rush the passer (when given the chance). It's all about scheme, and Rex does this better than anyone IMO.

It's not out of the realm man. We have the money available for him once he clears waivers, granted he's not a must pick-up but he has the talent to work in our defense and help us in many ways. We can't stop the run either remember? Pass-rushing won't matter if we can't stop the run.

We need talent, talent, talent. We'll see what happens though, but I understand where you are coming from

With the total incompetance on offense, the best corner in the league out and zero recievers, you guys were still one game away from the play offs last season, one game!
ANY improvement in ANY area will guarentee you guys will have a better season in 2013.
I mean seriously, it is impossible for you guys to go backwards. 2012 was a miracle that you guys even sniffed the playoffs!!! I mean, wow...you guys may appear in the superbowl in your own stadium.

As long as we play in the same division as the Bills and Fins we're almost guaranteed a 4-0 start. Win half our remaining games and we finish 10-6

Huh? The Bengals were the 6th seed and won 10 games. I was never really good at math, but I am pretty sure the difference between 6-10 and 10-6 is more than 1 game.

You haven't swept us this decade...

If it wasn't for our useless shitty ass kicker, we would have swept you 2-0...

The last time we swept the Bills and Dolphins in the same season was in 1998.

It has been oddly quiet around here. I'm pleasantly surprised.

Deathstar, you post on here so much, I think you want to be converted into a Jets fan
