Why do you believe this person you quoted has "seen" him handle LB duties so easily? If you can find footage of him covering people in down field or making impact on plays where he doesn't start from the LOS scrimmage and then run backwards to catch up then I'd be really grateful. Haven't seen anything that shows him to be more than a 4-3 end but I'd love to be wrong.

I was correcting you, you said" he played 3-4 OLB"...you're wrong.

Don't take it personally, I'm just correcting your mistake.

    You can read anyone's review.

I have seen Ansah play, he's not an OLB, that's a fact. Ansha is a pure rush DE, probably the best rusher at that position this best season. Asking Ansah to drop in coverage on a consistent basis is not his strenght and not what he's use to doing at BYU. He can make plays in pursuit and doesn't give up and chases down Qbs and Rbs.

He plays 90% of his plays at R (mostly) or L DE standing up rushing the passer. The other 10% he moves inside on the D line.

Saying someone moves like a LB doesn't mean he can play OLB or has ever played OLB.

I've been studing players year round in College for decades, I have no reason to mislead you.

You can believe what you what, I've been around this site (draft forum) for almost 10 years and don't spew bullshit, I tell it like it is. When everyone on site, in 2007/2008 was wanting Gholston to be their 3-4 OLB for the Jets, I was dead against it long before he was drafted. I preached he had no coverage skills.

Fisher will be in the top 9, maybe even top 5.

He certainly helped his stock at Mobile.

Really excellent, quick feet...his future is at LT in the NFL.

Once again. I'm not wrong. Check out BYU's 2012 roster and you'll see that Ansah is listed as a LB. However, I will say this. I woudn't care if he ever dropped into coverage. He should always be moving forward. I believe he can definetely play OLB in Rex's defense and play down when needed.

Think what you want, read what you want.

Watch film and see how Ansah plays on the line, rushing and not dropping in coverage.

We can agree to disagree, I've told you what I've seen on film.

If you don't want him to drop in coverage, that's fine, but we can't put him in as a OLB in Rex's defense. We don't need a 4-3 DE, Coples is in place and Wilk can move inside in our 4-3 fronts.

My entire argument in this thread we don't need another D-lineman Rd 1 selection, we need a versatile OLB that can play both in a 4-3 or 3-4, Jones would be perfect if healthy. If you want to draft a DE later in the draft I would have no issue.

I mentioneed much earlier we don't need to draft another 3... Rd 1 D-lineman the past 3 years, we have other issues.....OLB, OL, WR...to name a few.

Would be great to grab stud RT for many years but Jets have no shot at Fisher. He showed up at the Senior Bowl Practices/Games and was really amazing. Next OT on the board is gonna be Lane Johnson. I'm not so confident Lane Johnson is good enough to force Jets to ignore defense with 1st round pick.

Agreed. Watch game film and show me the "raw". Does a good enough job recognizing plays, uses hands well, deflects balls, recognizes screens... He might be new but I don't see the raw. Sometimes is slow to react but his speed makes up for it.
