    One trade:
    Jets 1st round (pick #9) <==> Tampa Bay 1st & 3rd round (pick #13, #77).

    Tampa Bay agrees because:
    - Desperate for CB & they grab #1 CB prospect just before he’s picked up @ pick #10.
    - Bucs are giving up fair market value. (according to chart linked below).

    ************
Round 1.....Dion Jordan -OLB. Sets edge & showed coverage skills to sit on the slot. Don’t be deceived by low sack numbers. He wasn’t pass rushing constantly. Love his versatility & think it will be fully utilized by Rex. Most of the mocks I've looked at have Dion going mid-first, so I'm hoping Jets can still grab him moving down to #13.

Round 2.....Deandre Hopkins -WR. Solid WR prospect & one year of NFL seasoning & he has legit shot to be #1 or #2 WR next season. Kerley/Hill/Hopkins is good enough to let Holmes walk after this season. If Hopkins is gone, I think another high quality WR prospect will be there (like Patterson/Austin).

Round 3a.....Alvin Bailey -OG. Slauson is at best average. Moore’s career is winding down & unsure what he’ll have in the tank next season. At least one should be replaced. I’d prefer to upgrade RT but not so sure there’s a guaranteed starter after rounds 2, so I’m going with the more “sure thing” & upgrading 1 of the OG. Alvin Bailey played LG & RG.

Round 3b.....Johnathan Cyprien -SS. All the scouting reports I’ve read make me think he can step in and contribute as starter. Will slide into the big hole left by Laron Landry. Won't be all-pro but at least it's a young rookie Safety with upside.

Round 4.....Johnathan Franklin -RB. Most likely it’ll just be whatever RB is leftover from the Stepfan/Jamison/Gillislee/Bell/Ball/Franklin group.

Round 5.....Michael Williams -TE. He’s big, he’s strong, he blocks, he’s cheap.

Round 6.....Sean Renfree -QB. Can’t find anything more than a few highlights online. Seems like he’s got good arm and Big factor in Duke making it to bowl game. Injury forcing him to miss East/West game & combines. So Jets get a shot to grab an NFL arm late in the draft.

Round 7.....Dennis Johnson -RB. This could be a chance to upgrade primary and backup RB. Dennis Johnson was also productive as kick returner.

My first mock so any advice/criticism is gladly appreciated.

One of the best efforts I've seen in a while.

Jordan can do it all, rush, cover. I believe he won't be attending the combine, so his draft stock may take a hit.

Hopkins would be a steal in Rd 2.

I love Cyprien, I drafted him to my Bengals in rd 3 in TGG' draft. A player that will be on the rise and a good Mobile showing. Hits hard and supports the run well and is solid in coverage.

Franklin may not last to rd 4, he's a smart player and does it all.

Renfree is a favorite of mine.

    Well done!

If he was off the board, would you be happy with Austin or Woods? I think they'll both be on the board if Hopkins is gone.

love it. Hopkins is the receiver I would personally want, but I think he may go late first. Cyprien and Bailey are nice touches and Franklin in the 4th is very possible.

Woods yes, Austin no. I don't think he's the type of receiver the team needs.

Great job overall. Read something about Cyprien possibly moving in the first so might be wishful thinking in the 3rd but he's definitely a hot name.

Thanks for the feedback. I've got a feeling Franklin is going to be gone also. My goal for that 4th rounder was to grab the best RB left. I think there's gonna be a RB gold rush in the 3rd round & Jets will simply have to take the best leftover RB. However, I'm expecting this random left over RB to still be a big upgrade over last season. Didn't realize it originally but there's so many good, quality RB that are big upgrades for us in the rounds 3-4 range. Even way after Giovani & Lacie.

If Hopkins isn't there what do you think about picking the best available WR there? I'm going with the same logic as RB in 4th round. I like most of the WR that fit in that range & would be happy with whatever is left. My hope is that 1st round will not have enough WR to stop us from grabbing a stud in the 2nd round.

The first? Damn, looks like this guy's stock is just too hot for Jets to afford him. Cyprien's stock really jumped up big time.

I'd be pretty happy with that draft. Aims to fill all our needs.
