Knicks have the Pistons coming up tonight. Should beat them, will be interesting to see if the defense shows up for 4 quarters. Granted we played bad teams, but offensively the last 3 games is what we all imagined 1.5 years ago when the lockout ended and we had Tyson,Amare, and Melo together. Now 1 coach later, Woodson has it coming together. Defensively, we can't dig ourselves big holes against better teams. We did it twice against CHI and I believe against IND and BK also. If we can control the 1st half, we can run away in the 2nd has our defense usually kicks up a notch.
So is Prigioni becoming a really good 3 point shooter or am I just only remember his makes? It feels like his 3s are falling more often than not
I think he's selective. He doesn't like to shoot he likes to distribute. But when there's no one to pass to and he's wide open he takes the shot, and that happens to be when he has the best look
Yep, offensively he added a ton of moves and individual defense he has down. The pick and roll still troublesome with a fast point guard, gets caught guessing which side the ball handler is going and doesn't come out far enough to hedge/trap. If he gets that pick and roll defense down, oh man
Chandler with 60 boards in 3 games: New York center Tyson Chandler recorded his third consecutive game with 20 rebounds, tying a Knicks' franchise record, on Monday night during a win over the Pistons. Chandler owned Detroit inside over 36 minutes. He went 4 for 9 from the field and scored eight points with two assists and a block. ^^ I just want to play CHI or BOS or IND against to see how we now stack up against their defenses and how our defense holds up. I hope CP3/Blake are healthy for the Clippers, will be a good test. Some great gifs from last night
Joined this game in the second half, we are down by 7 unfortunately. Hopefully the defense kicks it up a notch and we win this
The Prig, Smith, Melo, Novak, Amare lineup has given up a 3 point lead to start the 4th quarter and turned it into a 7 point deficit in about 3 minutes.
Trevor Ariza, former Knick, is 5/6 from 3 point range. The Wizards are the worst offensive team in the league, scoring at will against us. I only watched the seocnd half, but announcers acting like this was been happening all game
Felton/Amare switched with Wall and Nene. Wall was at the elbow and picked up his dribble, Nene at the top of the paint, outside his range. Amare ran away! ran away from Wall into the paint to cover nobody instead of contesting Wall who picked up his dribble. Wall who was Prigioni open from the elbow drilled the jumper to make it a 7 point lead with 2 minutes left. Not sure what Amare was thinking there.
The Wizards have now beaten the Heat, Thunder, Clippers, Bulls, and Knicks at home this season. Ugh. Broke our 5 game winning streak. Shouldn't have lost to them.
Also, Nene saved us at the end of thegame. Melo went flying into the air and Nene got under him. Melo was going to come down hard except Nene tried to grab Melo and soften the fall. It worked and Melo walked it off. It was going to be a BAD fall if Nene didn't do that
