This schedule looks pretty rough. But then again year to year who knows.

    Dolphins- L
    Bills- W
    Patriots- L
    Raiders - W
    Saints- L
    Steelers- L
    Buccaneers- W
    Browns- W

    AWAY:

    Dolphins- W
    Bills- W
    Patriots- L
    Panthers- W
    Falcons- W
    Ravens- L
    Bengals- W
    Titans- W

I can see the Jets going 9-7 or 10-6 Easily. You guys will never beat the Patriots next season or the Steelers but I can imagine a scenario of you beating the Browns, Bengals and the Titans.

I can see us going 3-3 against AFC East

This is how the rest of the season could go

    Home
    Raiders - W
    Saints- L
    Steelers- W
    Buccaneers- W
    Browns- W

    Away
    Panthers- W
    Falcons- L
    Ravens- L
    Bengals- L
    Titans- W

    9-7 it appears

Too early to talk about this. Let's see the rosters first.

There's been plenty of times McKnight is going down and looked ready to fumble the ball also.

With a bigger role, I think he'd become another turnover machine. The mere thought of Sanchez & McKnight constantly turning over the ball as they both have full-time roles next season is already making me nervous.

At the moment, the only team I think we are clearly better than is the Raiders. Everyone else is either better than us or on a similar level. Personally, I think we are at the bottom of the AFCE right now. I think the Bills have more talent than us and the Dolphins have a ton of draft picks and cap room to improve their roster. Things can change, but I truly believe this is a rebuild year.

It is. No reason that we can't be competitive in a rebuild year though. We may not be Super Bowl winners, but we are not going 2-14 either.

I think you guys match up great against the Bengals, I can totally see you guys dominating them, IMHO the Falcons are over rated, but I can't see you guys beating the Steelers. They stopped yall from getting to the superbowl and if I'm mistaken you guys don't have a great record against them.

I believe Rex actually wants to retool your team into Steeler/Raven kind of smash mouth football team but may not know how to shape the offense. I can totally picture the Jets becoming a smashmouth Steeler like team of the AFC EAST in a couple of years. But yeah, with that schedule I totally see you guys getting in as a wild card.

19-0. I go in predicting this every year in the off chance I will be right.
The dream lasted 1 week this past season.

Well, unless you have a franchise QB, you are pretty much in rebuild mode. We currently do not have a franchise QB. We may win a few games, but what will that do us in the long run? Make you a little happier in the present? Because the way I see it, is that unless we strike gold this year, our franchise QB lies at the top of the 2014 draft. If we totally bomb this year, I could most definitely live with that if we are able to draft Teddy Bridgewater- a franchise QB in the making. Look what it did the Colts and Redskins. You think Colts fans are still upset about their 2-14 season? Hell no.

Its the sad truth. Do I wish we were able to remain competitive, find our franchise QB and win a SB within the next year or two? Fuck yeah. I just dont think thats reality at this point.

I mean hypothetically, we could be competitive, go 7-9, trade a boatload of picks for the QB in the draft, and then win a SB. But yeah, it seems the easiest way to become a SB winner is to suck and hit on a QB not be consistent and competitive until the QB comes along. Although PITT was able to do that but they are a model franchise at this point

    +1.

Who knows (1) what the roster will look like, and (2) how well the WCO will take with our personnel. At this point, I think it's a safe assumption that the Jets could be competitive in each of those games, individually.

I will say this. I don't think we have more than one blowout loss next year (New Orleans Saints).

Patriots, Ravens, Falcons, Saints and Steelers could all easily blow us out... especially considering if we trade Revis and lose Landry to FA.

They could, but I doubt it. We'll lost to any/all of them, but I will be very surprised if we get blown out by more than one. Especially if we have anyone but Turnover Machine, Saint Chez as our quarterback.
