With all due RESPECT to the "Founding Father(s)" of GG.COM... who rightly & justifiably so... created a forum for the discussion of all things (& more importantly, the NY Jet acquisition of) Tim Tebow, realize this forum has out-lived it's usefulness evidenced by the lack of new threads offering something....ANYTHING, that we haven't heard before. There are 5 particular threads in this forum - each over 2+ wks old - which contain the same, ol' arguments such as TebowManiacs claim that..."TEBOW HAS A BETTER COMPLETION %CENTAGE BETTER THAN PEYTON, MARINO, UNITAS & STARR BASED ON E=MC-SQUARE ON DRIVES 5+YARDS FROM THE OPPONENTS GOAL-LINE WHEN THERE IS A HALF MOON & WHITE CASTLE OFFERS 29% OFF OF THEIR CHEESEBURGERS"... Or from Teblow-Haterz stating that "TEBOW HAS THE PASSING ACCURACY OF MY LONG-DECEASED GREAT-GRANDMOTHER & WOULD BE BETTER OFF AS A HEAD CHEERLEADER FOR THE RADIO CITY ROCKETTES!" These borin'-@ss, 5 threads here, or for that matter- Tebowmania Forum- offer nothing new or insightful on the overall JET experience! A total waste of bandwidth! Apologies for being overly dramatic, but hopefully some of U get my point! Tho' Tebow is still "technically" a NY Jet, his days are numbered & so should be this forum. How 'bout a contest where any member who offers the best suggestion for the use of & the re-naming of this forum be awarded free cable/satellite service for a year paid for by Tebow? I'm just sayin'! Given that the Jets have a new QB coach, a new OC and a new GM, perhaps you should probably wait to see what actually happens before predicting any demise ?
Posts and even threads mysteriously disappear from this forum on a daily basis. Post counts also tend to decline in numbers when that happens. If the NYJ anti-Tebow zealots and the Tebots both get their wish. Then this year and all these posts will cease to exist in the Gang Green memory banks. This form of denial seems to be how y'all manage to save face. We may or may not move on but y'all can can chalk one more discouraging year onto the post '68 seasons. In the event that Tebow is traded or released, as long as you have Rex and his tattoo, I feel we will come out ahead on this deal considering the NYJ salary cap next year. No hard feeling for most of the Gang Green as I feel your pain. But the Zealots have made it a seriously hard row to hoe this year for us post 312ers. May the road ahead rise up gently to meet you. Tebow has as much a chance of being a Jet in 2013 as Sanchez does of being the Superbowl MVP. He will be cut if for nothing else than to save cap space.
