I don't hang around long enough to know who's who other than knowing junc is out of his freaking mind rationalizing every little thing that's Jets. And I know I'm in the majority on that opinion!!!

And - Fankly junc - Sanchez STILL hasn't had to play in a real cold snowy nasty game such as Eli's win in GB or many of the games Brady has played in.... I think Mark has been incredibly lucky to avoid some real bad weather so far - But, MY GOD!!!! Am I scared to see him play in real bad conditions...

Can you name the 3 worst snow games he's played in? I know it was windy in the game he threw like 7 picks Vs Buffalo.

Shonn Greene was always a 1 dimensional Ho-Hum back with no Breakaway threat.

So, YAY for the Slauson pick - a mediocre guard we get out of 2 drafts...

But, I've been a big fan of Jabba since I've been here.... Put it this way - I've been around here enough to know Jabba blows away junc when it comes to FOOTBALL and the jets.

So, thanks ;)... Is he still here?

yeah. true, when you already have your Stud QB, things are much easier...

looking at 09/10 to compare since the Jets completed fubar'd them:

Pitt came away with Pouncy, Wallace, Sanders, Antonio Brown - Compared to the Jets ZERO!

NE from those 2 years got: Edelman, Tate, Vollmer, Chung, Aaron Hernandez, Rob Gronkowski, McCourty and Brandon Spikes....again compared to CRAP!

NE, also moves around and aquires many picks that allows them to absorb misses - Tannenbaum with his lack of talent skills consistently fell in love with certain guys and went all in and traded UP and got much less room to bust...

he was a rookie and it was realyl cold vs. Buffalo but I'm not sure the cold was the reason but maybe playing in it for the first time was?

In the 3 cold weather playoff games he has played he has thrown 6 TDs and ZERO INTs

at Cincy: 21 degress, windchill 9 degrees

at NE: 30 degrees, wind chill 19
(last I checked tom Brady played in the same conditions:jets:)

at Pitt: 17 degrees, windchill 5

he's played in the cold and he has thrived in the cold.

I odn't think cold weather is why he sucked this year.

the 3 worst snow games? how many snow games have been playe din the league in the last 20 years? 5-10? he hasn't played in snow yet.

Shonn sure broke away in SD and Cincy in the '09 playoffs.

I liked Jabba but I used to get the better of him in our debates just like I do w/ you.

I think this is a simplistic approach, but a good start. We also have to see how much they impacted the team. Sanchez and Greene started for us this year so that looks good from 2009, but in reality were either one of them above average at what they did? It's hard to say so. Do the Jets get credit because they started players other teams wouldn't start because their lack of talent?
