The meat of this draft class is in the 2-4 rounds and we get three picks in that range and a 1st next year if revis plays like he normally does so now we have 3 seconds and 2 thirds and 2 firsts that is a good way to start rebuilding We could have 7 new starters on this team next year which is outrageous

But you wanna be able to pick up a HB who can be dynamic Gio is the one for the job
He will probably be picked up late 1st - early 2nd can't risk letting him be on the board that long

I'm sure that he meant that trading back that far is pretty much getting a second in the trade since its at the end of the first. I'm sure no one would complain about Geo if we got him early second.

Oh defintaly not its just a matter of picking him up in the first place teams will be looking at him I think he could change a game easy and I don't want the risk of a team pulling the trigger on him

My only problem here Rambo is moving from 9 to 30 should warrant TWO first round picks on top of a mid-round pick (2nd or 3rd round pick)

I agree with the 9 to 30 i have them giving us their second and it was a mistake to not ask for more but now looking i still think the would give their 2014 first for Milliner

Aslo that would give us 3 first round picks next year so Teddy Bridgewater and Clowney (probably not but hopefully Teddy B)

Pulling down 2014 picks would be franchise altering. Getting the ammo to trade up for one of those studs the Jets would take a huge step forward. This team would go back to drawing all the headlines but this time it'll be for the right reasons.

How would we have 3 first rounders? Ours and Revis? And which else?
Definitely would be nice to have 3 first Rounders though.

I can agree with that. Mingo has a lot of upside, and if we wereto get him late first I wouldn't be bothered.

After looking at the trade the Falcons made to move up from the 27th pick to the 6th for Julio Jones, I think the adjusted trade is pretty fair value.

    Browns Got:
    - 1st round pick (27) - 2011
    - 2nd round pick (59) - 2011
    - 4th round pick (124) - 2011
    - 1st round pick - 2012
    - 4th round pick - 2012

    Falcons Got:
    - 1st round pick (6) - 2011

With that said, not sure the Falcons would make that big of a jump again

I'm usually a fan of aggressive trades. As a dual Jets and Falcons fan, I can ASSURE you that there is no way in fucking hell the Falcons would make that trade.

They'd sooner franchise tag Brent Grimes and pay him to have Grimes, Asante, and Dunta than to give up the draft picks they need and their GM covets. Also, if they were trading up it would be for a DE/OLB like Ezekial Ansah, Dion Jordan, or Jarvis Jones if he starts falling.

Maybe you can get the Denver trade, which is probably a 3rd round pick too aggressive, but the Atlanta one is laughable. I also think the Revis one is way too high -- we aren't in a great position of leverage my friend. If we don't make a deal, Revis will leave to the highest bidding contender. The 49ers make sense, the Ravens make sense, the Bears make sense if they move away from the Cover 2, etc.

We'll be lucky to even get a 1st, which is the gist of the talk that is surfacing around the league. Looks more like we have to choose between a 1st rounder or some young talent and a 2nd rounder. Hopefully we can get AJ Jenkins (1st round WR but useless to the 49ers), LaMichael James (similar situation but has a role), and a 1st round pick from the 49ers.

My ideal trade would be: 49ers 1st and TE Vernon Davis and the 49ers can re-sign Delanie Walker and draft a well-rounded DE. Davis doesn't really have a role for them (check the stats except the Atlanta game which was an anomaly), and the 49ers could use that money elsewhere (Crabtree, Kaepernick, and Aldon Smith extensions) and draft a cheap TE.

I don't think any team will give up their draft for Revis. He is coming off an injury that will alter his play, remember his playing position is 2nd reaction not first like Peterson. He always has contract re-up issues, and he will want a ton of money. That's 3 negatives! A team would be better off using their picks rather than just giving them to us. If we get multiple picks, or a couple high value picks ( 1st and a 2nd or 3rd) I will be shocked! If we see it on the table we better get it before they change their mind! I love Revis, but he will walk
