I was wondering when someone would cave and draft a QB. In fairness, that's probably about where he should go... but in reality, he's probably a second rounder.

Nice pick Johnny, I was hoping Frederick would make it to 76 for The niners.

Glennon is a guy that gets mention from the top ten to the third. I agree he will prolly end up in the second, but I think in the top half of it. Getting a QB with his potential in the third is a good deal for Oakland.

Yeah I think that's the right pick for them. Heck, if they used their 1st, 3rd, and 4th round picks on QBs last year and 2nd this year, what's another 3rd round pick this year to try and get it right? lol.

Lol I hear ya. The problem has only compounded itself because they have underwhelming QBs and few picks to find talent. Oakland is a mess that's going to take a few years to fix.

Glad you went with a edge defender and not a QB for the Browns, WW.

Thomas isn't a pure pass rusher, but he can help that LB group.

If the draft went further, I could see getting a QB later on.

I had to stress defense with the Browns...Milliner & Thomas is a good start.

I agree... those two positions are an early must with the conversion to the 3-4.

So... any chance we take the draft past the third?

Sorry guys...the joys of living on The West Coast. I'm getting ready for work so it'll be about an hour before I get my pick in. If my math is correct I have until 10:12 pst. It will be in before that. Just might be an hour or so. Sorry guys.

Glennon almost made it to the Jets 3rd round pick... Thats great value for the Raiders there. Good position in Oakland where they dont need him to play immediately.

My thoughts exactly. I really wanted to go in a different direction with the pick, but again my board dictated the pick over need. It didn't hurt that Oakland has soooooooo many needs I know they have no shot in hell of filling them all in one or two drafts.

Phew...got it in before I left for work.

Love Wheaton for the Cards. He is the perfect #2 to Fitzgerald and gives Smith a weapon. I failed to address the G position for them but getting a hopefull franchise QB, starting OT and eventual #2 WR are pretty good for a team that has no weapons on offense other then employee #11.

LOVE Wheaton, one of my favorite players in the draft. Excellent value in the 3rd (I think he'' be a 2nd round pick when its all said and done) and he's one hell of a player. Not sure how big of a need there is with Fitz, Floyd and Andre Roberts, but he's probably BPA anyway.

That's my thinking, he was productive in college actually extremely productive. He had a great week at the senoir bowl, he some speed, by all indications runs good routes and is probably a top 50 player in the draft. Maybe not a huge need but I think he would emerge as the #2 and if Floyd is that guy then Wheaton should be a good slot guy. I think he was obviously BPA (and to be fair I wasn't really ready as I was sleeping when all trhese picks came in so I had to think fast and he was the BPA)

nice pick with Wheaton, also one of my favorite players in this year's draft.

Seems like a lot of GM's are on right now, hopefully we can bang out quite a few picks quickly!

Was looking at wheaton for the bills but reminds me a little of johnson. they need a compliment at receiver, not a clone.

of course the bills fans are yelling WTF is gonna throw them the ball.

    good pick.
