Thanks, I saw that when I did my search but since it was hypothetical and did not have Pitt on it I dismissed it. I thought you may have a ACC blog that you followed that could help. Troy Nunes is one of the places I read everyday. I can't see them splitting up Duke and UNC they will be in the same division. Probably without SU in that one. My guess is we will get BC, Pitt, UM, VT, and eventually L'ville. Throw in 2 of NC State, Virginia, Clemson, and Wake. You guys will have rest twice and SU once each year.

This is what happens when your team plays every minute of every game. If only Jay Wright had instilled this prior to embarassing early season losses, this team could be talking about the NCAA Tournament (With losses to LaSalle and Columbia, its hard to justify this team in the tournament with less than 21 wins). The good news is that at least Villanovawill appear in some sort of post-season play. which is a step up from the embarassment that was last season.
Wolfpack take it. UNC with a late run to make the final score close, but the game was never close until the final two minutes. NC State was up 17 with 2:50 remaining
SJU beats Seton Hall today. Play Depaul on Wednesday, win it. 6-3 in BE play. Have some tough games coming up.
The LaSalle loss isn't as bad as you make it out to be, granted Nova shouldn't lose to them but they ahve a pretty good team and just beat Butler and VCU in back to back games. They might get an at large provided they don't have a disaster down the stretch.
Why can't you ever be happy? sometimes teams get better as the season progresses. Enjoy the wins and stop complaining about Nov/Dec. As for the heels, I was worried this would happen. this was basically the biggest game in the last 35 years at NC State and that is a very talented team that was coming off a few bad losses. I'm thankful the heels didn't quit and at least showed some fight. It's another larning experience for a young team that had been getting better and better prior to Sat night. As long as they take care of business against teams they should beat they will be comfortably in the Tourney.
I find it amusing that UNC (13-6 3-3) and Villanova (13-7 4-3) are having almost identical seasons, yet you are free to be unhappy, while I am supposed to be doing cartwheels.
I'm not unhappy, I expected this type of season after losing so much talent early and i'm happy w/ the way they have prgressed outside of Saturday.
Brilliant 14 point win By #10 Gonzaga at home over national powerhouse San Francisco. This should do nothing but bolster their position for a 1 or two seed in thr tournament, escpecially considering their stellar 1-2 record over nationally ranked teams (Including that 1 point statement-of-dominance over Oklahoma State). The certainly will continue to be challenged against the likes of 8-12 Layola Mercy and 11-11 San Diego State this week. This team just isn't getting enough credit.
So, your team lost talent, mine lost none. We have equal records, but I am supposed to be as happy as you?
If you had high expectations coming into this season you were fooling yoursself and yet they have gotten better and better including 2 huge wins recently. You should be very happy w/ where they are right now.
I had NIT expectations for this team. When they lost to Columbia, I felt those expectations were lost. Now they are restored. How happy should I be?
If you're gonna rip Gonzaga at least get the teams right... Loyola Marymount and U of San Diego. San Diego State plays in the Mountain West which is currently #2 in the RPI. And for the record that San Francisco team beat the same Columbia team that beat Nova by 20. They also blew out St Johns.
