Why are you so certain he will win it? We can easily bring in a QB in the draft who blows Saint Chez out of the water.
The fact is in 50 percent of Sanchez's NFL seasons, he has played in the championship game, its no fluke either. His ridiculously high postseason QBR caused both appearances. I still have faith in him.
He never played in "the" Championship game. He played in one of 3 games a year the NFL calls a Championship game twice. Fact is in 4 years he has played in 2 of 12 NFL Championship games. That's 16.6%. Facts!
This crap again. Year 1, he was asked to do nothing, and was propped up by a strong running game and elite defense. Was up at the half against Manning in the AFC Championship game, and then was asked to win the game once Greene got injured. What happened? He proceeded to be awful, and lost the game. Year 2, he was again asked to do nothing, and was propped up by a strong running game and elite defense. In Pitt when the defense struggled, he became a turnover machine, and his sack fumble for 6 was the difference. Sure, he made a comeback when the Pitt D went into prevent mode. However, the reason for the differential in part was how awful he was in the 1st half. So, this revisionist history that makes Mark Sanchez have any part in any success has to stop. He was simply there, but make no mistake, the team won in spite of Mark Sanchez in those 2 years, and when it had to rely on him, failed. Any other qb, and this team has a Superbowl ring or 2.
Eli Manning was only able to play in 66.6% of the championship games during the years that he won Super Bowl rings. What a freaking loser.
Can't these feelgood Sanchez articles wait for the offseason? I can't wait to hear how great Jets West was. My quarterback/marketing guru.
