Im not one to make excuses as you all know. But we're obviously seeing a result of no camp.We had zero legs last night from the get go. It will improve. Calling for Torts head is ridiculous. They guy has a ring and clearly proved he can get a team to play over their heads like we did last year. Getting on Eminger? Looking for him to make "memorable" plays? So silly. He's in there to make sure there are no memorable plays when hes on the ice MR, obviously IM not surprised about Dubi.....he does not belong in the NHL. Other than Gabs and Nash, I cant think of a Ranger who isnt under achieving right now. Stepan and Hagelin are retards--zero finishing ability. Zero. My BOY McD hasnt been involved in anything to mention, Cally is not flying all over the ice like he did last year yet, at all...even though MR would deny that to the death. Its a work in progress right now. Like I said, dont expect the Rangers to be the 1 seed. Just get in and hot stride in May

Steps and Hags have been hot garbage, but Cally does other things like block 20 shots already and play responsible defense...just taking Torts to task for sitting Kreider and letting Newbury fuck up for us with his stupidity...Gilroy is better than Emminger, Emminger is a statue...Pyatt has been playing very well...no time to panic...

Torts isn't, nor should he be, going anywhere. Mike Sullivan pretty exclusively runs the PP, and I agree that he's definitely going to have to find some marginal success at the very least. The losses are all gonna feel shitty because no matter what, someone is gaining on you every night. No panic button yet. I'll give that at least into the middle of February. But make no mistake, right now this is a very flawed team.
Newbury for Kreider is just stupid and my favorite word to describe Torts stubborn, Steps and Hags have been horrible, Pyatt has been a pleasant surprise, Cally has struggled but still contributes with blocked shots and responsible defense, Rupp is horrible and he had him on the 3rd line, which left us essentially with a 2 line game...need to force the play more, forecheck and pin the other team in their zone, like everybody does to us, control the pace of the game and use your size...
Which is killing us...5 on 3 passing the puck around the perimeter for 40 seconds and taking a point shot that is blocked everytime, it's like watching Mark Sanchez keep missing open receivers...
rangers have alot of time now to get it together. a Pyatt jersey is in the possible ordering stages if this keeps up.
they don't wake up soon it's going to be the more familiar scrambling for the 8th Seed at the last week of the season that we are more accustomed to dealing with. What do they have Toronto, Philly and Pitt at home coming up.........less than a sweep of these games is unacceptable.
Need to force the play, forecheck harder, sustain more pressure in the offensive zone, win the battle for loose pucks, need to play with more urgency...we're not doing any of it...
