I never thought I would say this, but I think our FO fuckin nailed this signing!!

This guy seems like the real deal and seems he will turn our terrrible offense around. At first I was a little worried, but man it feels good to read all this stuff resurrecting about him. This offseason is gonna be interesting

I actually liked that the OL may not need an overhaul to be effective - and Slauson/Howard have a chance to excel in his system. Maybe OG is not the kind of primary need I first thought. Jets should go with OLB x2 early in this draft then.

With Keller/Kerley/Powell and McKnight, the personnel seems pretty much set as well. (Even that fuck Tone. If Jets get a good production out of that shithead, they should definitely trade him off.) If the OL can perform as well as they should be expected to, then with shifty and fast RBs (Powell and McKnight) the ground game should be all set.

So... the task becomes... how Marty will fix Nacho...

If somehow Marty resurrects Nacho into Sanchize - and win the big one - I will say, the days of SOJ are over.

I personally think Idzik is going to try and bring in Flynn to battle it out with Sanchez. Flynn has played in a WCO, where as Sanchez has very little knowledge of that offense.

You realize he did the WCO in college under Pete Carroll, right?

He has very limited experience in the WCO and he needs to be good with his footwork and make quick decisions. 2 things Sanchez doesn't do very well

None of those guys will ever amount to anything in the NFL. You can hardly say the personnel is set.

I think we should still be drafting OLine. We need to make sure Moore & Slaw can be replaced with upgrades...not lateral changes....should either go down. I like Slaw but I will also be happy if he remains as backup because he's been practicing as stand-in Center should Nick go down.

We should still be looking for an FA or Draft explosive RB. While McKnight could excel, I still would be looking to add a game changer to the roster.

We need Tight Ends and another crisp route running WR.

I can live with sub-par ILBs if we can somehow retain Landry, Revis, & Crow.

I doubt Sanchez will be getting back to form. I hope so for the sake of the franchise, but I doubt it.

Great article. One of the best I've read on Mornhinweg.

Keller has amounted to a decent TE. Kerley looks like he'll be a good slot receiver moving forward for us. 'Nothing' is a bit of a stretch.

I think he has experience, but I agree the he isn't very good at The skills required to play the WCO.

Our needs are a good TE and a good RB... aka the two safety valves in any offense.

Keller (although let's see how much money he wants, it's a good draft for TEs) and Powell would be ok... but if we could somehow upgrade to Tyler Eifert/Zach Ertz and Giovani Bernard/Stepfan Taylor I'd be estatic.

    Great read.

As I'm reading this, all I'm thinking is "later Greene".

I'm not sure. That was my I initial thought... If you getnGreene open, with 10-15 yards of steam.....woe be the guy trying to corrall him. Think about that San Diego game, where he just ran over the safety.

If MM can get him to the second level untouched, by scheme....that's scary.

My guess is he'll fall down upon first contact.

Think about every OTHER game of his. That's scary.

All the more reason to go after Matt Flynn

Unfortunately, Greene's shortcomings extend over falling on contact. MM's scheme requires a cutback RB. Greene just hits the hole and goes. Even if the hole is big enough to fit 3RBs thru, he doesn't have that 2nd gear to pull away from defenders.

I just don't see im fitting into this system. If he wants to re-sign on the cheap, I'd love for us to bring him back as a 4th qtr closer.
