Never. If Jets win a SB, the topic will be how this Jets SB teams isn't a great team and the cards just broke their way. He'll bring up how injureis for other teams helped the Jets and how the Jets got lucky that some of the teams eliminated earlier would've knocked out the Jets. Then he'll list some other SB winners and explain why they're REAL champions.

I'm going to guess that it will be awhile before Idzik does the show, maybe a long while. He and the Jets have to know that there is nothing to gain from doing this and small fires that will have to be put out all over the place afterwards if things go badly.

When Francesa rants he rants and there's nothing that the Jets can do about that. When he has the Jets GM on and then he rants by twisting the guy's words and meanings then the Jets are in damage control mode.

 

If you don't go on with Mike then you allow him to control the message about the franchise. Woody should have went on his show and aimed his message at the fans, same with Idzik. This way the fans can make up their own minds about the direction of the team after hearing directly from the men who are in charge, rather than only having Mike's personal opinion to go by. Woody needs to grab his cajones and realize he's speaking to the fans, not Mike Francesa, and get his squirrely ass on the show pronto.
