I'd agree with that except for the 1st 4 rows in the UD. If you're between the 30s it's really not a bad place to be.
way too far for me, even in the front row on the 50 yard line. I hate that upper deck you can't even give me free tickets to sit up there
I like my 2 in row 6 and 4 in row 7. But u know what Id rather have 4 in row 5 and 2 in row 6 and $20 cheaper each seat. AT LEAST...
Push the shit out of them for that or all 6 in Row 5 and $20 cheaper. Plus you want free parking and no preseasons. You'll buy their fucking tickets and commit if they give it to you and don't forget... THEY OWE IT TO YOU FOR YOUR SENIORITY. Don't forget to hammer that home.
Many upper deck fans are buying PSL now that the prices have dropped. Some guy asked me if I would take 5000 for 4.....but he is looking at all options and is now going to buy a PSL debating if LLEZ or to pay the big bucks and do club seats. I wonder if revis gets traded does that make people think twice about renewing tickets??
This is precisely what always amazed me about the short-sightedness of a lot of the younger, original PSL buyers. Short term stuff like this actually affecting their (very) long term buying decisions. Today's youth really have no perception of time or longevity. It's what's happening today... right now... that's important and only that. It's the same mentality that's causing them to jump ship at 8-8 and now 6-10 and take a huge financial loss... all based on what's happening this year or even this month or even this one, individual player. "Well, Revis got traded today. I think I'll dump my PSL." A yeah dude, that's a rational, well-thought-out decision. They bought on Woody's hype on the spur of the moment... kinda like buying into the stock market on the ggod news and then selling on the bad... the exact opposite of what the true professionsals do. But this is good for someone with a field of vision longer than this afternoon. I imagine guys will be taking advantage of the impatience and impetuousness of younger PSL people willing to dump a 20-year investment at a 50% (or greater) loss over one personnel move. This Spring could present some good buying opportunities.
I'm pretty sure I would never buy a PSL seat even if it was $1000 a seat lower level. Bc of the game day ticket price and 2 meaningless preseason games also woody can jack those ticket prices up ever year if he wants. No I'm pretty sure I'm a upper decker for life
Same here for me, regardless of the price reduction on the secondary market, once Woody smells a demand for Jet tickets down the road, he will jump at the chance to increase game day ticket prices to make up for the lack of PSL sales him and his team forecasted when putting together the stadium budget. Nothing has changed, the PSL is like a ball and chain, and the ones that remembered what its like to win 3 games over two full seasons should remind themselves again that its all about options. I am not gonna be suckered into a PSL. Nope, I should have gotten the tickets I am sitting in today without any bullshit negotiations and threats. If anything, the Jets should had asked me where I wanted to sit and begged me to move over to the new place, and every season, they should be calling me letting me know every single seat available in the Upper deck. You know how Verizon gives people a $300 Visa card if you lock in for 2 years, the Jets should have offered UD'ers 2 years lock in with the option of not purchasing pre-seasons and free parking. That's how we should be treated as loyal customers.
For all those who wished me ill will on my recent cruise I wish to advised U all that I survived it in terrific shape. No I was not eaten by the Belize crocs nor did the ship hit a reef & sink. So oh well you can now continue your flaming of me even though if you took the time to assess the players we would probably be on the same side of if U did the assessment properly. However, I think ALL of U are afraid to do that assessment since you fearful of your NYJ world being shatter. While I see from a NYJs email we have a new GM & OC whole I am sure all U homers are hoping & praying that they are the ones that will make us he AFC entry in the 2014 SB. Right now I will inform each & every one of U you are just deluding yourself so that you can reup your tix for 2013 because of all the quality players we need to become a true SB contender. Right priority one is getting OLMan who can run & pass block so MS is not so fearful when he goes back to chuck the rock. BTW I meet a rabid USC fan aboard the ship & he said if MS ego is not stroked constantly he goes into a deep funk. That is not opinion but that of a USC fan
there are jets homers here in this thread? hmm i thought most of the posts here were filled with hate and distaste for the entire organization. maybe ive been misreading this whole thread for the past few years.
Nobody wished you ill will. You are the mascot for the same old JETS. Hope you had a nice time. UMM, if you consider our posts homerism, I hate to see what you consider negative. They did not nothing to get excited about or nothing to get bummed about. Champ, would trade Revis or hold onto him and give him the big contract?
Yes, no one is picking on you, but if it makes you feel better to think that, whatever floats your boat (no pun intended). Glad you had a good time on the cruise and hope you did not gain too much weight. Interesting, what this guy said about MS. It doesn't surprise me. And it's a damn good thing he wasn't a Jets fan or he probably would have thrown himself overboard on the 2nd day.
I proposed that Revis be traded last year but was flamed & as usual the NYJs are behind the curve
The SOJs are there because the "new" NYJs are exactly like the SOJs LOSERs which I guess you can not see looking thru those NYJ green shaded sunglasses & drinking that nice green koolade. Again I suggest tomorrow without fail you consult a MD to begin your treatment for affliction to the NYJs
I can not afford Jet rehab without giving up my tickets. Which should it be Champ? Maybe I can keep my tickets and just follow you Champ, seems you found how to detox from the Jets bandwagon and keep it real. But I don't want to come off as a bitter old man living in the past. I want to be a bitter young man living in the present. Maybe I will just continue to fool myself and stay hopeful each year that someday we are going to win it all when I least expect it. That's it, I am gonna keep the blinders on, its what I know best. Once we sign a couple of FA's and we get an A- in the draft, I will be full speed ahead. I bet the "Sanchez is studying hard and loves the new coaches" will get me pumped for # 6 behind center. Yeap, I am not changing, I will take the heat from you one more year. GO JETS!!!!
