Georgia's Cornelius Washington (6-4 265) of is interesting mid to late round prospect. He has actual experience playing OLB in a 3-4 ; he even has enough agility to play OLB in a 4-3. He has borderline freakish athleticism for his size (reportedly a sub 4.5 guy) but no real production to speak of and some off the field issues. He caught my eye in the one on one when he pretty much picked up the LA Tech OT and sat him on the QB with a bull rush.
Alex Okafor, Datone Jones, Quiton Patton & Eric Fisher are the players standing out this week., all have played extremely well.
Fair enough. I've haven't watched any of the Senior Bowl stuff yet. I have like 3 hours DVR'd so I'll catch up soon. But from the games I've seen of King over the past 2 years, it seems that he's more akin to running the 9 pattern. BTW, he's deceptively fast. I think he will run near what Smith ran at the combine 2 years ago (4.43). Maybe not quite as fast. Maybe closer to 4.5 but still pretty fast.
He's really won me over, one of the more impressive players out on the practice field (killed Lester). He has ideal height and weight for the TE position, has big 10 inch hands, runs routes very cleanly for his position, and looks to be a very balanced blocker (in both running and passing situations). I'd say 3rd round guy right now.
I feel the same way. I can't put my finger on who he reminds me of, but he seems like the real deal. I watched him block, and he looked surprisingly good as well. He's dropped a few balls, but I think he is cementing himself as the top all around TE at the Senior Bowl.
I have the same concern but he'll naturally become more consistent with time. Nor can I, a few names come to mind but I need more to time to analyze him. His blocking seemed very polished and always finished well. I'd love to see what he does on the 26th.
Marquise Goodwin seems like a big time playmaker. Hearing a lot of buzz about him. If he's utilized properly, he could be a heck of a player.
He is literally a track star in the long jump. And he's fast as hell. One thing on Goodwin, he quit the 2011 team in the offseason to focus on track. He then changed his mind and returned to the team early in the season. Big time playmaker with the ball in his hands.
He didn't "quit" from what I heard. He went to train and attend the olympics this summer but decided to play football instead of taking the year off to focus on track (although missing much of training camp due to the olympics).
Some other [smaller] names- JJ Wilcox, Robert Alford, Brandon Williams, Jordan Mills and Brian Schwenke All have elevated their draft stock. JJ Wilcox would be a nice mid to late round target as a safety.
Haha yeah a little strange (Oh shit my bad forgot to say it was Stepfan Taylor- that Kulabafi is supposedly an alter ego)
