And JFjets is absolutely killing him. Seriously, someone should call the cops, an ambulance or better yet, the coroner.
Tebow INTs/Fumbles in first 16 starts - 1.5/game Kaepernick INTs/Fumbles in first 8 starts - 1.5/game Luck INTs/Fumbles in first 16 starts - 1.75/game Andrew Luck had 4 games in basically the first half of the season where he completed over 60% of his passes, including 68.4% in week 7 and 69.2% in week 9. In his last 8 games, not only did he not complete more than 54% of his passes in any of them, but he had a completion % in the 40's in half of them, including a stretch of 4 games in a row. 5-3 W/L during that stretch. So, since his performance tailed off pretty dramatically in the last half of the season - at least by your favorite QB metric of completion % - does that mean that the league "figured him out"? Colin Kaepernick had a 64% or better completion % in his first 4 starts of the year. He hasn't even sniffed 60% completion in his last 4 starts, including the play-off game. Does that mean the league has "figured him out"? 3-1 W/L in last 4 games. By the way, have I ever mentioned that I just love the fact that you completely gloss over the fact that the Bills defense that made Tebow look human last season is the same one that intercepted Tom Brady 5 times last season? And the Kansas City defense that roughed up Tebow late in the season is the same one that just a few weeks before held Aaron Rodgers to under 50% completion, 1 TD pass, and 20 something points less than Green Bay's average. And, oh yeah, Green Bay lost that game. The humorous thing here is your assumption that it was the defensive plan rather than the offensive play-calling that "stopped him" for 3 quarters. The fact that he passed almost a quarter more in his 2010 starts and they scored almost a quarter more points per game definitely tends to support my argument rather than yours. Against the #1 and #2 pass defenses in the league that year, by the way, in case you had forgotten.
And who cares what all the NFL GM's say? You guys have stats and projected stats to prove he's an NFL QB. The NFL GM's are just stupid or conspiring against Tebow. It's obvious because you guys are "killing it" with your arguments. Have you begun to draw up your positions for arguing that Tebow is an NFL QB when he's riding the pine in the CFL? It blows my mind that you guys still haven't given up.
You may have known. Plenty of folks were sure the Broncos were "just a Quarterback Away" from the Super Bowl. Peyton's another year older. He ain't gettin' over that hump, not with John Fox as his head coach.
Because NFL GMs always get it right, huh ?? I take it that you aren't familiar with the concept of "group think" ? Or that most NFL GMs subscribe to "conventional wisdom" >?
Your problem is that NFL GM's & coaches are the only opinion that matter. Mine or yours is completely irrelevant. You can argue all day that Tebow has the skills to be an NFL QB and I can sit here and tell you he sucks but none of that matters. And as I told you from the beginning, the Jets didn't bring him here to play QB - as much as you argued with stats and stats and stats that was never the case, as evidenced by their actions. If no NFL GM is willing to bring in Tebow to play QB in the NFL, he is not an NFL QB. That's the bottom line. All your arguments thereafter are nothing but a giant waste of time that make you look foolish, no matter how good you and your fellow tebots *think* your argument is.
I think everyone who reads the Tebowmania forum is familiar with group think. It is on display on a daily basis, propping up unfounded optimism for a QB who has no business in this league, by a group that is either 1) trolling or 2) so completely out of touch with reality. Facts, you say? Well considering how small of a sample size you guys are using, I would say the 2011-2012 AFC divisional round game vs. the Patriots. Tebow was 9-26 for 136 yards in a game that he was down the entire time. See how easy it is to make facts say what you want them to say?
What's the Attraction? I don't get it. After a couple of years in the NFL Tebow has not earned the opportunity to be an everyday player and yet there exists this handful of people who still can't look away from the train wreck. What is the attraction? Seriously. How about a couple of you go back to square one and tell us what makes you beat this dead horse? Don't tell me he's nice to his mom, or anything from his private life or give us his stats from Florida or his records from high school, just tell us why you guys are obsessed with someone you don't know - if you happen to be a second cousin just tell us, that would help us understand.
It blows my mind you did exactly what I said you would do ( not really ). I understand Tebow might be done .
I really can't see him staying in the WCO. He will go, the only question now is if the Jets can get something in return.
So fucking funny. The KC defense was soooo fucking good it lead them to the playoffs. oh wait no it didnt. they sucked. got lucky against a green bay team that didnt give a shit and beat tebone like a rented mule.
With what? Speculative and fake projections of stats that don't exist? I once made a hundred bucks in an hour. Project that over an entire year as a salary, I'd make more than a quarter of a million bucks. I could have had my house paid off in just over a year. Funny how those projections have a way of NOT working out the way you thought, huh? ...and of course one Tebowner would back another up and say they own people. For some reason you guys feel the need to keep going to that card. You actually believe that nonsense you have been trying to sell ever since he got drafted. Unfortunately for you and Tim Tebow, most of the population is coming around to the idea that Tebow sucked, and most of the GMs in this league are way ahead on that score. None of them buy the bullshit you guys are shoveling. You guys are going out of business as a fertilizer company. I find it hilarious that you are having to stretch the stat sheets to convince yourself and others that Tebow is ACTUALLY as good as any of the other guys you mention, if not better. But you guys also forget. Tebow would have a lot more pass attempts if he wasn't busy going three and out all the time. Get another set of downs, you get more plays. I betcha some of those plays he would have got would have been pass plays. No? But tell yourselves whatever you feel neccessary to convince yourselves that Tebow really is as good as any other. All those GMs are bound to come around eventially. Unfortunately they actually watched him play too. All those three and outs, 46% completion percentages, and low third down conversions, and low scoring are what is killing his career moreso than the media. But go ahead and stretch the stats to make yourself feel better. Unfortunately those stats don't exist because Tebow punted the ball too damn much. So you go ahead and believe people are getting owned by your stretching of stats, and I'll live in reality knowing full well why Tebow fanatics are dillusional, and the REAL reason GMs don't want any part of Tebow is because for all the hooplah that surrounds him, he just isn't a very good QB.
I wonder how much they are going to get for Sanchez? Oh, how did I forget, the reason Sanchez sucked so much this year is because he was breathing the same air during practice as Tebow. None of it is his own fault, it's Tebow's fault. Right? hmy:
He was good enough to beat your team in 3 1/2 minutes. so no matter how much he sucks, Dolphins have to be worse....
Yes it did, the post said the Jets are going to get absolutely nothing for Tebow. Well, the Jets' fan like to blame Tebow for Sanchez sucking so that means they are going to get absolutely nothing for Sanchez as well just because Tebow was in his presence this past season. You have to read between the lines man. Have you just started reading the Tebowmania forums?
Yea but...but..but..he sucked for the first 3 and 1/2 quarters so na na na boo boo..stick your head in doo doo!
