He is a very good pass catcher out of the backfield and plays well in space for a back with his build.

Not comparing Taylor to gore skill wise, just saying that they have the same height/weight build. Stanford runs tons of multiple TE sets and uses Taylor in thier wildcat. He has been running between the tackles a lot for them and was more looking to hear what WW saw that made him think that he would not hold up.

I'm thinking the Honey Badger is going to be a 4th round player at best. there is no question he's an exciting player and would be a ST demon. The repeated, and I mean repeated instances have soured a lot of teams. But, it only takes one team to draft him earlier.

Harp, just what I've noticed watching Cardinal games. When Taylor runs straight ahead he gets lost and isn't as effective. When you let him run off tackle and more in space he's a playmaker.

He's a great teammate, smart, blocks, good receiver and faster than he looks running the ball.

While I'm still a Taylor fan, I don't think he can be a feature back, he will be more of a compliment in a dual backfield. Again, he's a good WC player that would be a better fit than Greene in our new offense.

I'm glad the Jets are showing interest.

Ansah will be the Jets pick at 9.

    Absolutely!!

I just don't know what Idzik will be thinking at #9.

I still would consider Jones, Werner or Jordan too.

It may be hard for many fans to accept a OT (RT) being drafted at #9 and pass on a solid pass rusher. I really believe the Jets have neglected the O-line. Fisher at RT and move Howard to RG, with Moore's departure is a good move. Also, IMO, we have zero depth at OT. The Jets have been lucky Brick has been healthy his entire career, Fisher could step in at LT....can't say that about any other player on our roster.

I'm not a Howard fan, and a lot of Jets fans want to stick with him, his pass protection is very questionable.

I'm all for drafting Fisher, if he's available, he's going be one of the big movers in this draft. I heard him being interviewed last night and he's an intelligent kid. He looked very solid in pass protection yesterday against Big College competition.

Fisher could be drafted before the 9th pick, lack of quality OT's at the top of the draft helps his stock.

I would love to trade back with Cincy and get their 1,2(OAK) and 4 then I wouldn't mind rebuilding the line by draft Fisher in the 1st and Barrett Jones at the top of the 2nd. Then we get Brandon Jenkins late on in the 2nd and Stepfan Taylor in the 3rd.

There we address the line similar to drafting Brick and Mangold along with getting a RB and pass rusher all in the 1st 3 rounds with 5 picks left to address, TE, WR, S and K/P

Quality of Round 2 prospects is outstanding. Trading down could be a challenge, most teams know the value is solid in rd 2.

The Jets need to get an OLB in this draft in the 1st 2 rounds.

Not knowing who's going to be available, O-Line & OLB are my top 2 targets in Rd 1/2.

I think we can get a good RB, WR & TE in Rds 3-5.

I'm happy they are looking as well.

I see him as a very good fit in the WCO. Good at picking up the blitz, very good receiver out of the backfield, and he gets to his top speed quickly. He may not have the track speed some look for, but he is a very viable back.

Obviously so much will happen before the draft, but from everything I've read this morning Fisher is solidifying himself as a Top 10 pick. We'll have to see what happens in free agency and its very early but I wouldn't be surprised to see him gone before we pick.

looks like it. and if he is gone it just pushes one of the defensive studs our way - provided thats the way we go.

@ShanePHallam tweeted that jets scouts talked with Dysert and Marshall (beast) WR Aaron Dobson after practice today.

I think we should take Warmack at 9. I like Eric Fisher, but the guard position is a need for us right now. Brandon Moore is probably retiring and Matt Slauson may not be back. I'm content with Howard as long as Warmack is lined up next to him.

As good as Warmack will be, he'll still be a rookie. You take the tackle every time.

Fisher, Datone Jones, Wheaton and this guy Quessenberry from San Jose St have impressed me again today.

Tavarris King has been running very good routes and is getting separation consistently.

I posted about him in your "PLaymakers" thread.

Dude is a burner with good size. I think he can get separation in NFL. Needs to work on his route running and his hands aren't the greatest.

Reminds me a little of Torrey Smith coming out. Same size, similar speed. Smith had better hands though.

You couldn't tell by watching the one on ones that he needed to work on his route running. That was some of the best route running I've seen in a minute watching these drills. Also, I don't think he has Torey Smith's kind of speed. Regardless, I likes very much. Like the fact he's a 5th year senior too; maybe that translate to being an early contributor.

Quinton Patton also looked very comfortable out there too. The Baylor kid looked a bit lost.
