This is the safety we should have drafted in 06 instead of Eric "The Snail" Smith.

First off and most importantly, he was just signed to a 3 yr contract extension before this season. The Ravens aren't cutting him.

He's good for a few big hits otherwise he's never even made a Pro Bowl. We have much bigger needs on offense to address. It's not like he's available anyways so this is not going to happen. Nice pipe dream though.

I'm befuddled by people continuing to state as fact that he blew out Welker's knee. He was like two yards away when that injury happened. It was a non-contact injury.

Very true, but people are just marveling at the remarkable coincidence of this otherwise nondescript player being involved in all of these critical plays that were particularly detrimental to one team.

Yea you're right. He made the cut trying to elude Pollard though. Pollard then tackled him. Add him to this illustrious list adding to the myth of Bernard Pollard.

He never touched Welker until after the injury happened.

Everyone knew that when the injury happened, but the further we get from that point in time, the more retards credit Pollard for the injury. Typical re-written history by people who can't remember what they ate for lunch the day before.

Anyone who says "Pollard blew out Welker's knee" is a pea-brained fucking idiot.

Didn't we go after him a couple years ago? He'd probably be cheaper than Landry but we'd still have to overpay. No thanks.

Relax man. Regardless, he made the cut to elude Pollard, so he is at a point responsible for the play. It only adds to the myth.

Chill out on the name calling. It's unwarranted.

The only player who needs to be in a Jets jersey for life is Revis and Mangold, We have Landry we can't afford both

Yeah. He was right there. Two yards away. I guess we can credit Richie Incognito for tearing Revis' ACL while we're at it. Because he was 'involved'.

My bad. You're not a pea-brained idiot. Just incorrect.
