He has no experience with personnel, it was never one of his job duties, he's an empty suit executive, a contract guy.

whats more interesting is that you apparently were in a coma for the 2 seasons where Rex took the Jets to back to back AFCCG. If thats what you call "declining" then you must be under the impression that before Rex, the Jets were AFC Champs and SB participants.
He's not a bean counter. If you looked him up for more than 5 seconds instead of reading Cimini et al, you would see that. You wanted a guy outside, you got one. Why are you complaining? What proven team builders were out there? Gamble? No job for him. Dorsey? He'll be Reid's puppet. Caldwell? That's really the only one, but he'll be hailed as a messiah with NO expectations down there if he gets them to 5 wins next year. 5 years from now, this will be seen as a VERY good hire.
