I only bet if I truly feel I have the best possible odds of winning, gambling shouldn't be about loyalties or feel good decisions, it should be purely a logical decision that ends with you making money. A $1000 bet on any team to make the Super Bowl a full year before the season is idiotic, a $1000 bet on the Jets to make the Super Bowl with all their issues is borderline committable.

I'm hoping he added two more zeros. That's just a stupid waste of money. I wouldn't bet on the Patriots to win the Superbowl next year (or any other good team).

Alright so when i collect on this bet ill make sure i remember this thread,It just makes sense to me i look at things diffrentley it doesn't matter what kind of season we had last year , that's last year.. We got this guy named Revis coming back and we should be alot better on defense and offense, I just always felt we would finally win it at home in Metlife , The Giants had two season where they missed the playoffs and collapsed late and went on to win it

and many people who r much older than I am think Walsh invented the WCO...;) You're right on about the hydrids - there are alot of variations, but basically I'd expect to see Sanchez the rolling out, dinking and dunking and looking for the occassional vertical strike. He'll probably be throwing the ball quickly 55% of the plays. It should be very interesting to see if this at least improves the Jets offense from horrendous to mediocre.

G&P: 3 yard run and a cloud of dust
WCO: 3 yard pass and a cloud of dust

I think this could add more credence to the potential Matt Flynn to the Jets idea.

He could be huge coming out of the backfield if he could learn to pass protect.

    Paul Brown.

But that was before the Polian rule.

I like both of you Guys, but for all the years between us, you two refuse to get it..

Shotgun formation, any personnell, Pre snap read...three seconds and out, is your base.

Hill will be vital to stretching the defense.

There is little need for pass protection, unless you have Recis,Cromartie, and Wilson facing you.

6 yard pass patterns... PI is in play, as is back peddling.its, ampassingmrun play

If you ride the short bus.

Go back and watch the Rose Bowl performance, or the St Louis game.

The reason Rex got a WCO guy, is because that's what mark learned in college, but Shitty, and Spermburoer didn't install here.

To his credit, and probably to validate his hiring after Schittys firing, those are the plays they ran against st Louis. How did that turn out?

I feel like the personnel we have now is more suited to the WCO than it was for the ground and pound. We have zero depth and a crappy QB, but aside from that, I think we'll be better off.

That's crazy that our offense actually exists in the NFL

You honestly think this hire was because it was the style of offense Mark Sanchez ran in college? You have to be kidding me. The guy is going into his 5th year. Its like comparing Brady in his 5th year in the NFL to when he played at Michigan. They dont match... In the slightest.

You and many others keep saying he ran this style in college, but riddle me this- How does this change to a WCO play to Mark Sanchez's [few] strengths at this point in time?

Id be shocked if someone could answer that with a reasonable and logical response other than thats what he ran in college.
