The Jets are absolutely clueless. Mornhinweg? Fuck off. This organization is going nowhere but down. What a fucking joke.

It will be great to get this all out of the way and then we can start to sort this team out.

Idzik is a numbers guy and has ties with Seattle.

He'll figure something out. We need a guy like Flynn until we can draft a viable franchise option

No, Favre made more sense and was actually good and had a good career. That other piece of shit has done nothing.

I really don't even mind going a totally different route with the offense. We aren't going to be good next year. Might as well find a holdover QB til we can draft a west coast offense fit or sign/trade for one. Holmes/Kerley and Braylon/Hill are perfect pairs for what the west coast offense does. We just need to get a QB that can get them the ball.

Probably not but we need a cheap one year filler who can play in a west coast offense..and they have to be cheap because we are broke..not many fit that mold.

Don't know how i feel about a WCO switch. Without the right QB, it's tough to pull off. We also do not have the right versatile RB for it.
i feel like the Jets still need to establish the run and play action, mixed with more vertical attempts, and more creativity on screens and counters.
Will keep an open mind tho..

Woody said money wouldn't be an object when it came to the QB position this year.

If the MM hire is true, then the Jets weren't lying when they claimed they were going to adjust the offensive philosophy to an attacking style offense. I would imagine it will also be true that the Jets are going to bite the bullet when it comes to Sanchez's contract and not skimping on the QB position.

Woody was smoking dope when he said that..the NFL says money is an object when you are over the cap.

They're saying Marty Mornhinweg is going to be the new OC, great hire; if I'm Rex I'm both happy and nervous. I think Marty is being positioned as a potential HC option if things go sour with Rex next year, the man has assistant HC experience under Andy Reid. But back to Morn.. he was QB coach with the Packers in the year they won the SB with Favre. We need to go after Flynn, let Mornhinweg coach him up, get Sanchez in another uniform, and reboot this team.

The reality is, the Jets have to eat the Sanchez contract regardless. That's why Mike T is out of a job.

So the real decision is whether to go el cheapo on the most important position on the team, or just pretend that Sanchez's money is money that doesn't exist to begin with and address the position with whatever limited resources are available.

I say we need to eat the dead money and make due with what we have. The 2012 Colts had the most dead money in the history of the league and still made the playoffs. Get us a QB, the Defense will be fine, and this team will have a better record in 2013.

90% of the board was calling Sparano "Sporano" from beginning to end of the 2012 season. Most of this fanbase is fucking morons. Get used to it.
