Having Vince Lombardi's name attached to your tree line in coaching is naturally going t excite people, but I personally don't care about that. I'm much more interested in someone coming here that comes from an offense that has been very good for awhile now, I would love to see the Jets field an offense that shows excitement like a lot of these attacking offenses do for other teams. I think that would be a breath of fresh air to me.
He would be a tough sell. I'm hoping that's just another of these BS rumours the media is constantly making up when it comes to the Jets.

No they went from college calling plays up the ladder, They didn't get a job because there grandfather was Vince Lombardi, Please humor me with the fact that he didn't get a job because he has the name Lombardi attached to him. And thats why Woody Johnson wants to bring him in because all the good OC's told us to go fuck ourselves and now he is gonna go out and get someone because they have a famous name. Coming from the Saints, much less aside being the grandson of Vince Lombardi is quite the pedigree... If you want a breath of fresh air, this is it. Better than fucking Pat Shurmur.

Out of that list of potential guys between gailey, cameron, mornhiweg and shurmur I would of went with Mornhiweg. Gonna be fun seeing people fuck up spelling his name all year.
And I was the first :shit: This is prob the best hire we have available if you think about it. Dude has a solid track record too, and I don't think he's looking for a HC position.
