For UNLV football only 25K but they will have the capability to expand to 60K for other events.

After sucking up for two straight games, it was a must win.

I saw that game. Good win for them. I was surprised by the poor showing from the ND guards. St Johns out quicked them and had them on their heels. I liked the way St John's kept fighting in that game. ND kept coming back and St Johns did not faulter like they have in the past.

Is it me or did both of these big 10 teams look slow. After watching St Johns and ND the speed of the game just seemed slow to me.

Another fine job by Jay Wright. Once again, his team fails to play forty minutes of athletic basketball, and the team blows a halftime lead, and loses to Pitt.

I ask my fellow alum on this board: How much longer are you going to accept this crap until you hold Wright accountable?

It is the style they play, they look slow and boring until Tourney time.

Wisconsin is notorious for slowing the game down. They've been doing it for a long time.

Pitt and South Florida like to do it in the BE.

They're playing good D and rebounding well, but the offense is a mess. Jay's system combined with the offensive talent on the team doesn't mesh. Everyone is slotted a slot above where they should be.

The next two years with a core of Ennis-Arcidiacono-Pinkston-Ochefu, they need to get back into the Top 25 conversation.

The Game ended on a 15-0 Pitt run, and you want to sit there and say they play good D? Are you serious?

They needed to be in the Top 25 conversation last year, and failed to acheieve any post-season play whatsoever. This program is in deep trouble, and no one wanted to admit it.

No it wasn't that, I am used to teams doing that, it was the players themselves. In the St Johns game the players were really quick and in the big ten game they were slow.

Lowest point total for Pitt this season, held them to 36.7% FG and 20% from 3 when Pitt is 12th in the country averaging 49.3% per game so yes I think the defense was good.

Last year was definitely an extreme low point for the program. I do think they're on the upswing now. Maybe not as quickly as I'd hope and the ceiling might not be as high, but I do think they're getting better.

Or perhaps last year was SUCH a disaster, Villanova has succeeded in lowering your expectations to well below what is acceptable?

I'm a day late but my Rebels went into San Diego and beat the Aztecs. To make it even more encouraging Anthony Bennett and Mike Moser were non factors in the game with both spending quite a bit of time on the bench. We got a big time game from Khem Birch.

You think that's something try it on a carrier with 25mph winds!

Just kidding the SU game was a joke and really should not have been played because of the wind.

Haha, you guys exposed their weakness in the middle and we just did the same. We had 48 of our 82 points in the paint.

It sucks when your team flaw is found out in November! The thing is only a few teams in their conference will be able to exploit it.

They get good enough guard play to compensate it as they have some good players in Franklin and Tapley but for us to score 48 of our 82 points in the paint that is not usual for us. We are an outside shooting team but went inside quite a bit. Throw in dominated the glass. We have another tough one tomorrow at Colorado State who is playing extremely well. I honestly could see us losing to CSU but if the Rebel team that showed up on Wednesday shows up tomorrow it is going to be scary for the rest of the conference. We opened up with 3 of our 1st 4 games on the road against the teams predidcted to go 1, 3 and 4 in the conference.

It's possible. But I think the team has made strides defensively and needs to do a better job on offense, especially taking care of the ball. But when your primary ball handlers are underclassmen that will happen. If they can recruit some front court depth once Yarou and Sutton leave I think the team will have a solid group going forward. But you can't erase the embarrassment that was last year overnight and this is very much a transition year.

Big one for the Heels tomorrow, can't follow up that big win at FSU w/ another clunker. MD just had a big win of their own at NC State(who was coming off a big win of their own) so I can see a MD letdown.
