D'antoni had a quote that basically said the season started today for LA. Well, they gotta win a lot if they want thier season to continue into the spring

As a SacKings fan, really hoping they end up staying. Will not support them as the Sonics. Fucking Maloofs.

the problem with his argument for economic damages because of the ticket prices is simple -- the Spurs did not sell him the ticket and thus did not damage him. if the Heat charged him more for the ticket, or a ticket broker, because of the competition (irregardless of his own choice to pay that price), than the Heat or the brokers would have the responsibility to him if his argument had any merit (which it doesn't).

The Hawks scored 5 points in that quarter. 58 points in the game.

They missed 17 straight shots at one point.

The game set a bunch of records for fewest points allowed in a quarter and a half I think.

I knew the Nets threw up 5 in a quarter so I was wondering what ATL had. I kind of want to see a team get shutout for a quarter. Would be interesting to watch how and if it's possible.

And yeah nothing is coming out of the suing. I bet Pop is laughing about it and next season when they go to MIA he will rest the starters again

it's similar to when some fans sued the NFL for spygate. It's frivolous and they couldn't possibly win.

Chris Paul missed yesterday at Memphis and today at Houston.

The result: A 26 point win over the Grizzlies and a 8 point win over the Rockets

Has to be the most impressive back to back of the season given the teams and the fact they were missing a player who's a top contender for MVP each season.

Knicks beat the Heat without Melo. It happens, but the magical wins eventually disappear and you need your star back

^ Still impressive though. That team is so deep. Everything they touch seemed to be a great pickup. Amazing how "basketball reasons" and few smart moves now have the Clips playing amazing.

They should be on top of LA by now, are the Clippers getting any respect yet?

Lakers are the new Islanders (or Jets - ha ha, ughh)

From what I am reading, they are dominating LA especially with the Lakers on such a slide. Good for them for breaking out. Basketball reasons, what a crazy thing. I guess Stern knew what he was doing.

Two good teams in LA, two good teams in NY cannot hurt the NBA

The Spurs stomped a mudhole in the Grizz last night and they are still the only team that legitimately scares me in the playoffs.

Lakers always get their way. They are like the Patriots. Pull of nonsensical deals which the rest of us cannot fathom. But, in this particular case - they were screwed over.

On another note, LeBron James, dislike the man, but a phenomenal player. Absolutely incredible what he has done thus far in his career.
